Food for the Soul 
I think I read this has something to do with the plants responding well to certain vibrations. Did you know it is illegal to play certain frequencies when hunting mushrooms in the United States, probably only certain parts, because it causes them to rise out of the ground. My friend is a mushroom hunter and told me this.

I didn’t know that. I have never hunted mushrooms, but this is good to know. Talking to your plants helps them grow also. I saw that for myself when I was little. My grandmother talked to her flowers, and they grew like you wouldn’t believe.

I think that is because of the frequencies as well, but don’t quote me on that. Haha! I read somewhere a long time ago that plants respond to negative and positive energy transmitted through vibrations present in the human voice or other voices/sounds. They have been known to respond well, meaning increasing in flowering/growth to classical music.
