About Me
I am Shaunelius, and I am the author and creator of Food for the Soul. I am also a podcaster, story teller, wife and mother. I have been writing for a very long time, and sharing my thoughts and views on whatever interests me. I have been in ministry for a very long time, and I look forward to many more years as I am able to do what God has called me to do. I hope you all enjoy the information that I share here. I am now a published author. I have written and published my first book, My Life: From the Back Burner through my pen name LA’BREA AQUARIA. My poem Emotional Soul…It Will Be Alright is also published in my book. I wrote my book in May 2022, and published in June 2022. My second book will be completed sometime next year, but for now it is on hold. I am proud of my accomplishments. I am thankful to see my dream come true. God has been good to me. He helped me through it all. When I thought I could not do it, He gave me the strength to do it. There were a lot of sleepless nights when I was working on my manuscript, and now when I look at the finished product, my eyes well up with tears. My heart is so overjoyed because at one time this was just a dream out of reach.
I will never forget what God has done for me. What He did for me, He will do for you too. Just have faith and believe in Him, and yourself. Do not ever put limits on yourself, or God because He can do all things that our mind cannot even fathom. So, until visit here again, keep on having faith and do not give up on your dreams.
Verse for Today:
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. (Philippians 4:5)
Inspiration:
We are not meant to live a life of excess. While it is good to have wealth and material possessions, we should rather commit these things to helping those who are in need instead of accumulating things we know we will not use. Giving is part of being a Christian and it is always best to give to those who are in need. Your life will serve as an example to others on how-to live-in moderation.
Prayer:
Dear God, I pray that as I live my life as a Christian, as Your child, may I never have selfishness as a priority in my life. Help me to be selfless in all my ways, O Lord, so I may be an example of You to Your children. You set the standard first, O God, and I ask that You help me to walk in this standard. There is no way I can do it on my own actions or power. I thank You, Father, for this great faithfulness. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Devotion:
And the Truth Shall Set You Free: Jesus tells us how to know what the truth is: John 8:31-32, 36-If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, it is not always easy to tell the truth from falsehoods. Give us the wisdom to pay attention to the words of Your Son Jesus. Amen.
Invitation:
If you have never known Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour, I am inviting you to get to know Him through prayer, and repentance. What you have done in your life, or where you have been, or where you are coming from. He is ready to accept you just the way you are. Just repent of your sins, turn from your wicked ways, and believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for us to save us from a life of sin. He gave up His life so we could be free from sin and live in eternity with Him forever. All you have to do is say this: Heavenly Father, I repent of my sins, and I am asking You for Your forgiveness, and I believe that You are the One who sent Your Son into this world to die for my sins. Please Jesus, come into my heart and be my personal LORD and Saviour forever. I want to live the rest of my life for you. Amen.
I would like to be the first one to welcome you into the family of God. This is the best decision you could have ever made in your life for your eternal life. Now you will get to live with Jesus in eternity forevermore. All praise be given to God the Father through Jesus His Son, who was and is and is to come. World without end Amen.
