Inspirational Story: Nandi’s Story- Grateful for Receiving

Nandi’s Story – Grateful for receiving

“There is always something to be grateful for.”

Gratitude is important because it is a moment when you acknowledge that you have received therefore you are worthy of receiving.
You can’t feel gratitude when you don’t feel valuable.

Throughout my day, I list 5 things that I am grateful for in my Gratitude app.
Sometimes I can easily list all five in one go and other times I struggle to come up with more than two.

I have made it a habit of mine to always give thanks to the universe no matter what the circumstances are.
For example, the other day I was helping my neighbor with her garage sale.
We only made one sale but I still was very grateful for that sale.
Gratitude is a way to attract endless blessings into your life. It has changed my perspective.
Without gratitude I would have focused on every single negative emotion I felt because of the unsuccessful sale but because of my perspective, I was pleased about the sale we had made.

I don’t feel a lack in my life because I know I have received, therefore I am worthy of receiving and therefore I will keep receiving.
I have been through an extremely tough time throughout these past two years.
Expressing gratitude for all the small things that have happened has helped me cope with the pain that these tough times had brought.
I live a life of abundance because I am able to find an appreciation for everything.
Be grateful for your friends, the water that you are drinking, your job, your family, your pets, the rain, and everything that makes you happy.
When you start practicing gratitude you will stop operating from a mindset of scarcity and you will start operating from one of abundance, which makes all the difference.

Practicing gratitude doesn’t have to be in the form of toxic positivity. Sometimes there is absolutely no silver lining and when there is none, you have to make it.
It’s a good thing to acknowledge all the misfortunes you have experienced. That doesn’t mean you should neglect all the good things that are happening.

No matter which way you look at it there is always something to be grateful for.
