Good Morning Everyone! Merry Christmas!

Today we celebrate the birth of our King, Jesus Christ. I am so thankful that God sent Him into this world to save us and redeem us. What He went through for us will never be forgotten. My heart is overwhelmed with joy, but just remember that today is about Him. I hope and pray your Christmas is beautiful. I hope everyone is happy on today. I know we think about our loved ones who cannot be with us on this special day, but just know they are in heaven celebrating with Jesus. Again, Merry Christmas everyone. Have a beautiful day, stay safe, and God bless. ยฉ2021

Evening Meditation: 1 Peter 4:11

Take a moment to meditate on God’s Word.

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4: 11 Shared from Bible Home for Android https://bit.ly/bible-home-play

In My Thoughts

Today is one of those somber days where I just want to think about things that I can improve about myself.ย  Procrastination is one of those things. When I am deep in my thoughts, I forget about everything else that needs to be done, such as updating my writings, sprucing up my sites, and doing my hair, make up, and nails. Go figure. You would think those would be at the top of my todo list, but they aren’t. I alway put others and other things before myself; I guess I have always been that way and never really noticed it until recently.

Sitting at my kitchen table, looking out of the window at the trees wondering if the squirrels are warm in their nests. It is chilly outside although they said it was going to be warm, but you can never tell about this Texas weather. It will be pretty one minute and nasty the next. Enjoy the sun when it shines whether it be cold or hot.

Now that Christmas is on the way, just remember we are celebrating the birth of our LORD and King, Jesus Christ. If you are having a party, don’t forget to invite the guest of Honor, it is all about Him. Until next time, Merry Christmas! God bless.ยฉ2021

It is all about Jesus!

Verse of the Day: Isaiah 7:14

Jesus is our gift of Salvation!

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.7.14.KJV

Meditation Prayer: Matthew 1:20

Jesus is our gift from God not wrapped in a box, or dressed up in wrapping paper. Merry Christmas!

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Refreshing My Mind

I feel like I have been distant in my writing. Normally I will write all day long, but lately I have been refreshing my mind so I can come up with new topics to write about. Lately I have not been in the writing mood, but I try to make myself write something, or just post something interesting that I find on line. It could be burn out, but when I get everything in order, I will be fresh again. I am very excited about my new Bible studies that I am writing and sharing on my Splash Page. I also have started writing new shows for next year…that was unexpected. Before I realized anything it had happened. So, lets hope I can make it to the end of this month with all I have to do so I will be ready to record after the first of next month, but there will be a post to inform everyone about season two for my show Food for the Soul, and for Diva’s Poetry Moment and Music Videos. If everything goes as planned, I will be testing out posting shows on You Tube, I have a channel but I just have not used it yet, I have to do my research first.

I have a new show that I have been writing called,” What’s Up?” I have been working on that for a few months now. I am also thinking about adding my food blog, Sweet Treats…as a collaboration with it, so pray it all goes well for me. Hopefully it will soon pay off because I have worked hard on it. I can say that God has really been good to me with giving me new ideas about doing new things with my writing. Whenever I say,”LORD, I want to do something new and different, it happens “. I never know when, but it does. Just sitting here thinking and smiling to myself enjoying the quietness around me makes my heart happy. I cannot wait to see where God is going to take me on this journey in the new coming year. I hope and pray that tomorrow will be sunny and beautiful. I just may go outside and enjoy it. Well, I was going to write my Bible Study , but I think I will wait until God shows me what to write about. I want to be very clear on that subject matter. So, with that being said, I will see you all tomorrow if the Lord says the same. God bless, Merry Christmas, and thank you all for following me on my journey with Food for the Soul.

How beautiful.
Switching it up.

Getting Away

Today started off just fine until I was ticked off. Instead of arguing about it, I left. I had to get away before I lost it all together. I am going through enough as it is, and I am alright though, but I just had to get away. I am trying so hard to get rid of things I do not want to hold on to. I am trying to change in good ways. Some of my old ways are trying to creep back in because of how I feel about being called names. When that happens, I see red, and I don’t want to be angry and filled with hate. I just want to be happy with myself, and feel good about myself everyday. I don’t need to be around anyone who’s going to bring me down.

Maybe this is just what I needed. Maybe I just needed some time alone to myself to think about the things I want to do in the coming year. I actually got up walked out of the house and left. I don’t like being called names like stupid and slow, because I’m not any of those things. I am smart, beautiful, and multi talented. I am unique. I am the only me there is in this world. I am to be respected, loved, and cared for.

What does a person profit calling someone out of their name? Do they understand that words hurt! Do they realize that words can cause destruction in a person’s life! I am so hurt right now! I just want to scream!!! I am trying to remember all of the positive things my daughter told me about myself. I wish she were here to lift me up.

My son told me that maybe I should go to the park sometimes and commune with nature, so, this is where I am…at the park sitting on a bench listening to the sounds around me. Looking at these paintings is relaxing, but there is a squirrel chattering at me from the tree in front of me. I feel a since of peace that I didn’t have at first. I know I will have to hear about this when I go home, but if I do, I will just leave again. I needed this time to myself. This is something I normally wouldn’t do, but I guess it’s a first time for everything. I guess I will go home now. It is getting late. I enjoyed myself alone. Until next time, thank you for following me on my journey with Food for the Soul. ยฉ2021

Chillin’ at the park.
