I have been married to my wonderful husband for 21 years now. I am a Christian, poet, singer, songwriter, and artist. I have five beautiful children. I enjoy writing and reading my Bible. I also love to pray for others. I love nature and being outside on sunny days. I love spending time with my family and watching shows that makes me laugh.
This is my second episode of the year which is season two of Food for the Soul. Click on the link above to be directed to Anchor to listen to the message. May God bless you. I hope you are inspired by it, and uplifted.
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. Luke 9:23-24 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/luk.9.23-24.KJV
Following Jesus is no joke. We have to be serious about it. It is nothing to be taken lightly. Everyday Jesus faced ridicule because of what He was teaching, the miracles He performed, and people wanted to kill Him. He did not let any of that stop Him from doing the will of the Father. He was faithful until the end. Are we that strong to face the things that Jesus faced? Are we strong enough to deny ourselves daily and follow after Jesus no matter the cost? These are things we should and need to think about. Following Jesus is not easy, but when we decide to live for Him, those are some of the things we will encounter as Christians. Jesus had faith and He is God’s Son. Can we have that same kind of faith, that mustard seed faith to move mountains? Everyday we will face something and we will need faith to bring us through it. Jesus is a prime example of faith. He is who we can draw faith from. When we look at all of the things He went through for us; Even the death on a cross, a tree , mind you, He never complained about it. Even when He was being beaten, He never complained or questioned God as to why this sacrifice had to be the way it was. Jesus knew what He was going to face when it was all said and done, but He also knew what the complete outcome was going to be concerning Him being raised on the third day.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.6.23.KJV
As we live from day to day, we do not know what may or may not happen, so we have to protect ourselves from sin. We should pay close attention to what God is telling us through His Word. His words are living and breathing. Jesus is the living word.
Look at the Scripture above and read it out loud so you can hear the words being spoken into your ears. Faith comes by hearing. When you speak God’s Word it penetrates into your heart and soul. It is better to read it aloud so your faith can be strengthened by it. It gives us life to our soul to stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.55.22.KJV
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
2 Corinthians 9:6 KJV

May God bless whatever is put into His hands. May God bless your year bountifully with increase abundantly. When giving, give with a cheerful heart because God loves a cheerful giver. Give from your heart and not out of the abundance of your riches. Give because you love Jesus. Give because He gave His life so that we may live free from sin. Even though there is sin in the world, we do not have to participate in it. We do not have to be involved with it, or associated with it.
When you plant good seeds, good things will come from those good seeds planted. When you plant bad seeds, bad things comes from it. I am talking about the choices people make in their life. For every action and decision made, there is an outcome. That is why it is important to make good decisions when deciding whether or not to do something.
For instance; Judas was one of the twelve disciples who followed Jesus, but Jesus knew what kind of person he was, but He did not judge him. He knew what was in their hearts, just like He knows what’s in our hearts. Jesus knew that Judas was going to be the one to betray Him, just like He knew that Peter was going to deny Him three times. The point I am making is this: Two different outcomes for two different people who did wrong. Jesus still used Peter in ministry even though he denied Him, but Judas hanged himself because of what he did. Now, all of that happened at one time on the same night Jesus was arrested in the garden. Peter got a chance to make things right with Jesus, but Judas did not. The question is this: What do you think you would have done if it were you who had to make the decision to betray Jesus or not, and what would you have done if you were the one who denied Jesus as Peter did? Would you weep as Peter did, or would you hang yourself as Judas did?
Make decisions that you know will have a good outcome for you, and not only that, but to bring God glory, honor, and praise. Ask , seek, and knock in prayer to our Heavenly Father the things He would have us do for Him concerning the Kingdom of God, and not just what we want for ourselves.
God is good to us everyday. We must thank Him everyday for what He does for us. Where would we be without Him?
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word of truth. Thank You for showing us that Your Word is a guide for our life, and a light to light our path that we may not have to walk in darkness. Thank You for being a light for me. Thank You for shining bright even in this darkness we are facing due to what’s going on in the world. There is always hope and faith to hold on to.
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

A Biblical Exploration of Grace, Faith, and Relationship Many people struggle with the question: “What must I do to be acceptable to God?” This question often arises from a desire to be loved, forgiven, or spiritually secure. Some assume that acceptability depends on perfection, religious performance, moral behavior, or spiritual achievements. Yet Scripture presents a… Continue Reading →
A Biblical Approach to Peace and Trust in Every Season Life is unpredictable. Joy and sorrow, success and setback, health and sickness, loss and gain—they all arrive in ways we often cannot control. What a year it has been. This year has brought us many things that we shall not soon forget. I would like to thank God for bringing us through every trial and tribulation that we have had to face, and are facing. I thank God first and foremost for Jesus Christ, His Son, whom without Him, we would not have eternal life. All praise be to God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who was and is and is to come. World without end Amen.
I am thankful that God has let me see another year to come. I am thankful for every blessing that God has given to me, and for all of the things He has done and are still doing for me. I thank God for my family, for my friends, and for you all. I thank God for already being in my future, and yours. I thank God for taking care of us all when we were sick for whatever reason. I thank God for bringing my grandmother out of ICU, and delivering her from the stroke she had. I thank God for being there with her and not leaving her alone. I thank God for allowing her to still be on this earth for all of these 96 years.I thank God for everything. His love endures forever.
What are you thankful to God for today and everyday? How has He shown you His love today and every day? What miracles has He worked in your life that you can thank Him for?
Everyday is a miracle that we wake up still on this side of heaven. The breath we take is a miracle. Walking, talking, seeing , hearing, moving, and being alive is a miracle. His mercies are new every morning, His love reaches to the skies, it is deeper than any ocean, and it expands further than the universe is wide. We have a Father who loves us more than our mind can fathom, that outweigh our comprehension. This is why we must be thankful to God. This is why we must praise Him and give glory to His name.
Verse 18.)- And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Verse 22.)- The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
May the Lord bless the reading of His Word. Have a blessed and wonderful day. Jesus loves you.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me. My Father’s house has many rooms.; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may be where I am.
May God bless the reading of His Word. World without end Amen.
Isaiah 65:24- And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will answer.
I have experienced this more times than I can count. God’s Word is true and working. I was going through something at one point in my life that I needed Jesus to intervene in. While I was praying, God had already answered my prayer. I did not see it right then, but when things started to take place, I saw that my prayer had been answered. Sometimes we do not realize the power that God has. We forget at times that He is always around us, His Spirit is everywhere. He knows what we need before we even ask. When we cannot see things happening in our life when we need it to happen, it is because we have lost faith in God. We have to have faith in God and believe that He will do what we ask of Him. Without faith it is impossible to please God. With God we can do all things, but apart from Him we can do nothing. We have to stay connected to the vine in order to flourish, but being torn from the vine we wither and die.
It has taken me many years to understand what that meant, but as I grew and learned, I began to understand what Jesus was saying to us about being staying connected to Him. We need Him for everything. We cannot live without Him. His Spirit lives in us, so therefore we live, move and have our being. He is our life and our Salvation.
Sometimes it takes going through things for us to see who Jesus really is. It takes trials and tribulations to grow our faith and to become strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
When Jesus was born it was a silent night. Who would have ever thought that Jesus would have been born in a stable which was unsanitary and dirty? There was not any room anywhere for them to lodge in a clean warm place inside from the elements. As Jesus was being born, the star shined over the stable where Jesus was being born. Everyone saw the star shining and followed the star to where Jesus was born. The angel Gabriel came and announced the birth of Jesus, and a multitude of heavenly host praised God, saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
When I think about the birth of Jesus, it brings joy to my heart. God did not have to send His Son into this world if He did not want to, but because we needed a Saviour, He did. We should be praising God every day for His Son and what He sent Him here to do for us. We were bought at a price that we will never be able to repay.
Let us think about how Mary must have felt knowing why her son was born, and what was going to have to happen to Him so we could be saved from sin. I can just wonder when she was holding her baby what she may have felt holding her Saviour. What she may have felt when she raised Him all of His life. I wonder how Joseph must have felt for Jesus to be his step son, and his Saviour. I am quite sure Mary and Joseph held on to all of the memories they made together with Him while He was growing up.
I know Joseph must have been proud to teach Jesus Carpentry. I am quite sure Mary was proud as well. When time came for Jesus to be crucified, I know that the disciples were afraid, except the one who cut off the soldier’s ear. Judas betrayed Him, Peter denied Him three times, Thomas doubted that He rose from the dead, but Mary had to see her Son die on the cross.
I cannot imagine the grief and pain she had to feel in her heart and soul. I know it must have had an effect on how she did the things she had to do at home. The reason I say this is because loss hurts and people deal with grief differently, and sometimes it takes a long time to get passed it. I feel in my heart that she was overjoyed when she seen that He had risen from the dead just as He told the disciples that He would. I am glad that He took the punishment that we all deserved. It was gruesome, but that was the sacrifice He made for us. He paid the ultimate price for us by shedding His blood and taking our sins upon Himself.
Life gets hard every day because of what we are going through, but nothing can ever compare to what Jesus went through for us. We should be counting our blessings every day and thanking God for each and every one. We should bless God for all He has done, is doing, and will do for us. We should have hearts of Thanksgiving. We may not always get what we want because He knows what is best for us. I know for myself that sometimes it can be hard to understand why He says no to us, sometimes we have to wait a little while longer, but that’s alright. It means that He is moving things around and out of the way so we will not be harmed.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
