Verse of the Day: 1 John 1:9

I am so glad that we serve a forgiving God! He is so loving and kind. He forgives us for the wrong things we do, and for the mistakes we make. I am also glad that He is the kind of Father who chastise us when we need it because it is for our own good and not to hurt or harm us, but for correction. What kind of Father would He be if He did not chastise His children? He does it because He loves us. Fathers who chastise their children loves them enough yo correct them, but those who don’t doesn’t care to teach their children right from wrong.

We all were born in sin, we all were born with a sinful nature, but as we grow and become old enough to know right from wrong, it is our decision how we will live our life; righteously, or wrong. God is telling us what He does for us in the Scripture above. We can get before God in prayer and confess our sins to Him so we can live righteously before Him.
