Winter Woes

It hasn’t been a month yet since winter arrived. There’s not any snow to be seen, but I wish it would snow where I live this year. I like the snow because it is soft and pretty. Each snowflake is different. I think that’s cool.

Winter woes is about how you feel about the cold weather that often keeps us on the inside even on pretty sunny days. The sun will fool you if you let it. I know all too well from experience. One day during winter I saw the sun. I knew it was warm outside, or so I thought. I went outside without a jacket on and I thought I was going to freeze to death. It was so cold. I learned my lesson that day and I never made that mistake again.

Winter is a beautiful time of the year. We get to wear our outfits befitting the season. I enjoy wearing my sweaters , boots, scarves, coats, jackets, and hats, and most of all, I can’t leave out my shades for winter. I have a pair of shades for every season and makeup to boot. I try to keep my nails polished to keep them from breaking. Winter woes is harsh on my skin. The dry air dries my skin out. I always have to use moisturizer to keep my skin soft.

What are some of your winter woes? How do you feel about winter? What are some of your favorite things to do during winter? My favorite thing to do in winter is read a good book, and relax while drinking hot chocolate. And as always thank you for joining me on my journey with Food for the Soul.
