When we are faced with challenges we do not understand, we start to lose our peace. We start to wonder why things are the way they are, and we wonder why things happen the way that they do. Often times there is no answer, it just is. It is what it is. Do we want answers, do we want to know everything there is to know about things that happen to us, or to anyone? The answer is yes. We want to know everything, but the thing is this, it is not for us to know everything, or why things happen when they do. We just need to trust God, and keep our peace that He has given us. God knows all of the things we will ever go through and face in our life. We do not know all of that, because if we did, we would not go to God for anything, we would try to work it all out before it even happens. Life is a mystery. What would we do if we knew it all? How would we benefit from it?
Throughout life, there will be challenges we will have to face, but we have to remember that we will not have to go it alone. We have someone who will always be walking with us. We have someone who will always smile upon us and give us peace, His name is Jesus Christ, our Savior. So, when you read this Scripture Verse, imagine Jesus smiling in your direction. Imagine Him holding your hand letting you know that everything is going to be alright. Imagine Him drying the tears from your eyes. When we think about it, He is all we need. He has everything we will ever need.
If you haven’t talked to Jesus today, He is waiting to hear from you. He is waiting for you to pour your heart out to Him so He can take away all of the things that are weighing you down. He is ready to give you a new live, and a new life in Him for all eternity. Let Him give you peace that the world cannot take away. God is love. Stay blessed.
Prayer for Today: 5/20/2022-Friday
Dear Heavenly Father,
I want to ask You to heal our land and the things that are not right within us. Help us to get to know You more every day. Forgive us all of our sins, and bless us with Your best blessings. We do not always get it right, but help us to remember right from wrong. Life in this world has taken a change for the worse due to this pandemic we have been facing since 2020. Help us to always look to You when we are facing trials and tribulations. Give us the strength to face each day with fresh eyes being positive, and being filled with hope and faith in You. Thank You, Heavenly Father for all You have done, for all You are doing, and for all that You are going to do in our lives. I give You all praise, glory, and honor with a heath of thanksgiving, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer For Today-Luke 6:28-
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
INSPIRATION:
Our Lord Jesus Christ would have us not be embittered when mistreated by others. He would have us not return evil for evil but overcome evil with good. He commands us to wish well for and pray for those who do us wrong, caring more for the souls of others than for our own physical comforts.
PRAYER:
Lord, it is not natural to the natural man to return good for evil, blessing for cursing, prayer for mistreatment. But that is the tall order You have given to us. Help us keep our spirits loving towards others and desiring their well-being even when we have suffered some wrong at their hands. Amen.

Thankfulness
I am thankful to God for His Word. I know that it may not always be easy to understand, but every time I read it, I learn something new that I didn’t know before. I am thankful to God for always being there for me. He always makes away where there seems to be no way. He is always on time, He’s never late.
I don’t know what I would do without Him being in my life; I would be lost and alone without knowing which way to turn. I am thankful to God because He is a good, good Father. What more could we ask for in a parent? Everything He does is for our good. Sometimes He has to correct us; that’s normal, because when children are being disobedient, they should be corrected. Any parent who does not correct their children doesn’t love them. He corrects us because He loves us very much, more than we could ever know.
I love God. He loved me when I was living in a world of sin. He loved me before I was born knowing all of the flaws I would have, knowing all of the mistakes I would make in my life. He loved me so much that He sent HIS Son to die for my sins and yours. God is love. I am thankful for everything He has done for me. He does so much for us, but do we ever think about that? Do we ever take the time to stop and realize where our blessings come from? Do we ever stop and tell Him how much He means to us? Do we ever just stop and look at all of the things He created for us to enjoy? Do we ever look at the beauty around us that He created?
I will always be grateful to God. He has opened up my eyes in more ways than one. He has shown me His love more than my mind can fathom. He answers my prayers in His own time. What more can I say about the most creative Father in the whole universe?
If you have not talked to Jesus today, stop and spend some time with Him. Pour out your heart to Him and give Him all of your burdens. Whatever you are going through He can carry it for you. I know for myself because He’s doing it for me right now. When you give your problems to Jesus, you will feel better, and your load will be lighter. Just always remember that He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will be with you when no one else will. He loves you so much. He can change your life for the better.
He will give you a new life in Him when you repent of your sins and ask Him to come into your heart and be your personal Lord and Savior. It will be the best decision you will ever make in your life for your eternal life.
With that being said, God bless you, keep you, and may He smile upon you and give you peace. Amen.
GRATITUDE
We have a lot to be thankful for because of all of the provisions God has given to us. If it were not for Him, what would we do without Him? Life is so short to walk around holding grudges. We should be willing to forgive those who’ve hurt us. It takes strength that we can only obtain from God to do it; we could never do it in our own strength.
Sometimes it takes years for a person to forgive someone when they’re still hurting from being hurt. Grudges are not released easily, and neither is forgiveness. It is something that takes time to get over before the action can be made.
We should be grateful that we have a God who loves and cares for us, and who is always there for us no matter what we are going through in our lives. One thing we can’t do is take Him for granted. I can admit that I did once upon a time, but He didn’t rebuke me, but He did show me how much He loves me when I didn’t even love myself because of the wrong choices I made in my past. He never held it over my head, but He did forgive me for everything I ever did wrong, or will do wrong in my life, but I had to forgive myself; it was hard because I have always been hard on myself. He has shown me His love in my life more times that I will ever be able to count. All I can say is that I am grateful and full of gratitude for all that He’s done for me. Forgiveness is beautiful, try it sometime; you’ll feel better about yourself. God bless.
