This Made Me Laughβ¦

My site is for uplifting and encouraging those that need spiritual advice and guidance.

Sometimes itβs helpful to have a nice, succinct summary of something youβre studying. Thatβs why resources like the Key Word Commentary are so popular with users of the Olive Tree Bible App. The Key Word Commentary distills each chapter of the Bible (all 1189 of them!) down into ten βkeysβ. These keys help the reader understand the most important elements of the chapter, from the surrounding context to the key verse to key quotations about the chapter from theologians. Letβs look at some examples of the Key Word Commentary taken from the beginning of the book of Psalms.

Today the sun is shining beautifully, the wind is blowing, and the birds are flying around singing their songs as they always do. Sitting here chilling thinking about what my life is going to be like once I finish school. My emotions are all over the place because I am missing those I love. I thought watching Christmas movies would make me feel better so, I watched a few. I decided that I just needed some time to relax and that is just what I did. Now that the sun has gone down to end the day rain has started to fall. I feel a sense of peace within my soul. I have not felt this kind of peace in a good while.

I know that I will sleep well tonight. Even though my emotions are raw, I am looking forward to a better tomorrow emotionally. Sometimes things happen like this, one moment youβre happy and the next moment youβre sad. Life is funny like that. I never think about how strong I am until I think about all of the things I have gone and come through. I can say that I am truly blessed because some of the things I have been through and gone through has made me who I am right now. I believe that it is good to look back over your life and see where youβve come from. I often think about the sacrifices I have had to make in my life that I never thought I would, or even could. I think that I have made good choices in my life in spite of my shortcomings. I donβt let what was define me as a person. I always say that I am perfectly imperfect, a work in progress, a diamond in the rough who will eventually come out sparkling, shining, and even stronger than before.
I may not know what tomorrow May bring, but I know who holds all of my tomorrowβs. I know that even if the sun do , or donβt shine it will still be another beautiful day.
