Heavy Hearts

Today was quiet, but another work day for me. As I was preparing to go to work, I received a call from my sister telling me that our grandmother did not make it, she passed away. I lost it, completely lost it.

Being the person I am in God, I should have handled it better than I did, but I have feelings to. My whole heart shattered within a split second. Our hearts are heavy as we grieve the loss of our grandmother. This will be a Valentine’s Day I do not ever intend to forget.

In due time our hearts will mend, but as for now everything is on the surface. Everything is very raw. This is how I cope with grief; I have to write what I am feeling. I have to get it out, even if it means screaming to the top of my lungs. Pain is pain and it all hurts very deeply. Preachers are people too, we hurt, we cry, we go through devastating situations just as everyone does. We just have to remember that we are carriers of the Word of God. Even in this time of bereavement I still have to be strong for my family. I still broke down. Was I wrong? Was I wrong for crying and screaming? Was I wrong for letting my heart break?

I will always have my memories of everything she taught me. Our hearts are heavy, but God will comfort our hearts. He is with us even now. He won’t leave us to suffer this alone. Everything will be alright. Until next time, God bless, stay safe, and just remember that Jesus is just a prayer away.ยฉ2/14/22

My grandmother was a beautiful flower to me. Now she is a beautiful angel in heaven with Jesus.

Verse of the Day: 1 Corinthians 13:4

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 1 Corinthians 13:4 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1co.13.4.KJV

This Scripture speaks volumes. There is nothing wrong with being charitable and helping others. We are supposed to help one another expecting nothing in return. It makes me happy to be able to help others. Jesus wants us to help each other. If you can help someone who is in need, help them. The feeling you get is heavenly, and not only that, we are serving the Lord. Have a blessed week.ยฉ2022

We absolutely do.

Verse of the Day: Matthew 5:10

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for their’s is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.5.10.KJV

Persecution is something that I have experienced more times than I can count since I have been a Christian. Persecution is even on the job, and I have experienced that as well also. I have been falsely accused of many things that I did not do, and I guess that is something I will have to endure as long as I am alive.

When anyone is persecuted for the sake of righteousness, theirs is the kingdom of heaven. There’s no persecution in heaven. We will live in peace for all eternity. We will not have to worry about being falsely accused of anything ever again.

As long as there is human life there will be persecution for whatever reason or another. It is something Jesus will have to give us the strength to go through. We can defend ourselves of the lies and false accusations, but God will have the last and final say in it all. God bless.ยฉ2022

We Need a Change !

Verse of the Day: Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jer.29.11.KJV

We may often wonder what God thinks of us, well, He tells us in Jeremiah 29:11. How wonderful it is to know that God thinks this of us, and wants this for us. When we think about all of the mistakes we have made in our life, and God still loves us that should bring joy to our heart and soul.

At the time when the world was brand new, who would have ever thought that things would happen to make the things of the earth become sinful and dark. Sin ruined everything. God had to restore what He created after the flood. We are restored through the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, our Saviour, and soon coming King. Our mind is renewed by the Word of God. When we began to see through our spiritual eyes, we began to see things more cleanly, and understand things that we normally wouldn’t.

There’s nothing wrong with not understanding something, this is why we have the Word of God to gain understanding and wisdom from Jesus. If God had not left us His Word of Life, we would have never known about Jeremiah 29:11 and what God thinks of us. So, when we start to feel like we don’t know what God thinks of us, we can always turn to Jeremiah 29:11. God bless you all. His love endures forever. ยฉ2022

They are a part of God’s creation.

Verse of the Day : 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 2 Corinthians 1:3โ€ญ-โ€ฌ4 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2co.1.3-4.KJV

At some point we will all need to be comforted. Jesus is always here to comfort us no matter what we are going through in our life. We are to comfort others when they are going through something that God has brought us through. We can tell them how God helped us through our situations we were facing. When we do that, it lets them know that God is there for them to, and that they are not alone.

I can recount how I was comforted by God when we lost our brother. It felt like the pain of losing him was never going to leave, and the shock of it. I can recount how our church family was there for me whenever we told them about our brothers passing. I felt Gods love and comfort as they reassured me that everything was going to be alright. During that time in my life the grieving process was very hard, because I love my brother so much. I take comfort in God’s Word whenever I start to feel sad.

We all ho through things that hurt us deeply, and God is the only One who can make that hurt go away. I know sometimes ask why we go through hurt and pain, but it is a part of life just like joy and happiness. We can take comfort in knowing that Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. We can take comfort in knowing that we have the Holy Ghost to comfort us, to heal our spirit, and give us joy.

This is a beautiful Scripture. I could go on and on about God’s comfort that He gives us. It would take me a lifetime to tell it all. Think about the times when God comforted you and share it with someone who you know that really needs to know about the comfort of God.

I have enjoyed sharing this Scripture with you all, and I am sorry that I posted it so early on the next day. I started on this yesterday, but I had to wait before I finished it. Share this Scripture with someone to let them know that Jesus is there for them, and that He loves them. God bless you all, and stay safe. ยฉ2022

He laid down His life for us all.

Verse of the Day: Psalm 121:2

My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.121.2.KJV

How many times have we said that we need help with this, or that? We often forget where our help comes from. We forget that we have a Father who is ready, willing, waiting, and wants to help us at any given moment. Do we not understand and realize that God has been helping us since before we were born?

He helped us by creating this world for us so we would have a place to live. He sent His Son into this world to save us from a devils hell. He has been helping us since the world began. He left us His Word so we could get to know Him and His Son.

He helps us when we are going through things in our life that we don’t have control over. He helps us get through things that we are going through that we don’t understand.

When a way needs to be made when we cannot see a way out of something, He makes a way for us. When we are suffering loss, he helps us by comforting us through our grief.

God helps us everyday, we just have to open our spiritual eyes and see it. When we need a job, He opens doors that no man can shut. When we are sick in the need of healing, He heals us. I am a living witness to that; He has healed me many times when I was sick and could not afford to go to the doctor, so He has been my doctor.

I know He has helped you too. He is there when we need Him, and we need Him everyday of our life. Thank Him today and everyday for all of the help He gives to us. He is our ever present help in the good and bad times. We can call on Him anytime. It doesn’t matter where we are when we need Him. He is just a prayer away. Just remember, He loves us all and wants what is best for all of us.

I always enjoy giving my thoughts on Scripture and seeing the truth in God’s Word. Everyone be blessed, and stay safe. ยฉ2022

Yes, He is.

Verse of the Day: Matthew 5:6

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.5.6.KJV

Even as Christians, we must thirst and hunger after righteousness. There are so many bad influences in the world that will try to deter us from following Jesus, and knowing righteousness. The enemy will try to cause us to not listen to God’s Word and His teachings. This is where we must stay in the Word daily and meditate on it.

There are those who has never picked up a Bible to open it and read it. I have seen those who have a Bible that’s collecting dust on the table, or on a shelf never being used as God intended. We cannot learn what righteousness is unless we open the Bible and read the Holy Words God left us. It is the only way we will get to know God. It is the only way we will know how to live righteously.

What would we do if we did not have the Word of God to live by? How would we be able to love one another as we should? How would we even learn to love our enemies? Loving our enemies is the most hardest thing to do, and we really need God’s help to do that. That is something we just cannot do on our own. To be filled with righteousness, we have to go to the Word of God.

Open your Bible, or your Bible App and let the righteousness of God, and the love of Jesus Christ, His Son fill your heart, life, and soul today. He loves us all. God bless you all, and stay safe.ยฉ2022

Let His love live in our heart.

Verse of the Day: 1 John 3:16

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3:16 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1jn.3.16.KJV

Looking at this verse, “and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren”. This stands out to me. The question is this: Will we lay down our lives for the brethren?

Some people have been martyred because of Jesus and their faith in God. They sacrificed their lives because of what they believed , and who they believed in. It has been going on since Stephen was martyred in the Bible. It is still going on today. Who would have ever thought that something like that would still be going on today in this world?

I know that there are people who cannot stand to hear the name of Jesus. It is a shame that they refuse real love, the love of God through His Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for all of us; every human being on this earth, from generation to generation.

It does not matter who a person is, or where they are from, or what they believe in, Jesus died for us all. Will you turn to Jesus? Will you go to God so He can save your soul? We only get one life on this earth, but our soul will reside in heaven or hell after the judgement. Where do you want to spend eternity? Only you can make that choice.

God bless you all, stay safe. Just remember that Jesus loves you.ยฉ2022

His love endures forever.

Verse of the Day: 1 John 2:15-16

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:15โ€ญ-โ€ฌ16 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1jn.2.15-16.KJV

This world is passing away more and more everyday. Look at what’s going on in the world today. Due to all of the virus variants that are here taking innocent lives, with the numbers going up, what is it going to be like a year or two from now?

Lust is another thing that is wreaking havoc in the world, and this has been going on since the beginning. It is a sin that has caused more trouble than a little bit. Everything that is not of God is sin. The Scripture explains all of this to us. Thank God for His Word, because without it, we would not know anything about sin, or how to live righteously before God. We would not know anything about Jesus and what He did for us. We would not know anything about salvation, or being free from sin.

What would our life consist of? How would we pray to God if we did not have the Word to learn from? We would be living by our wits. There’s so much going on in the world to not know who Jesus is. He is the only one who can end all of what’s going on in the world in every life, of every person.

I have heard people say,”I have my pride”. Will pride get you into heaven? Will pride save your soul? Will pride comfort you when you lose someone you love? Will pride stop a divorce? Will pride pay your bills? Will pride get you where you want to be in life? Will pride wipe your tears away? Will pride put food on your table, clothes on your back, shoes on your feet, and money in your pockets, or bank account, or buy that vehicle you want, or help you find that special someone to spend your life with? Will pride tell you that everything will be alright, and not to worry about anything? Will pride talk to you when your life is turning up side down? Will pride put a smile on your face? Will pride tell you to keep going when you want to give up? Will pride stop a person from taking their own life? Will pride tell someone to leave drugs alone because it can kill them? Will pride keep you away from trouble and sin? Will pride make anyone a better man or woman? Will pride make you see clearly the right things that should be done? Will pride save your life, and I mean your eternal life!?!

Pride will get you nowhere, and neither will his friend stubbornness, lack, judgemental, false accuser, despair, poverty, death, sickness, disease, plagues, and everything else that is against God!

I know I may have struck some nerves, but maybe that is what it takes to make people see the real realities of life. Don’t get caught up in pride because if you do, it will lead you to nowhere. Jesus is the way to salvation. He has already paid the ultimate price for us when He shed His blood on Calvary. That is a price we will never be able to repay; we were blood bought, and we have free salvation because of Jesus Christ, our King. Think about how He suffered for us, bled for us, died for us, and on the third day, rose again for us! He said He would be with us until the end of the age, until the world ends! Life is too short, and time is running out to be playing around with your eternal soul, and where you want to spend eternity! Wake up and open your eyes! Jesus is on His Way Back! Here’s the question: WILL YOU BE READY WHEN HE RETURNS, WILL YOU BE READY TO STAND BEFORE HIM? CHOOSE THIS DAY WHO YOU WILL SERVE, BECAUSE AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!

Do you want to continue to live in sin? Do you want to continue to rebel against God? Do you want to continue to live and walk in darkness, and if so…how deep is that darkness? Do you not want to live in the light of Jesus Christ? Do you even care about your own soul?

Tomorrow isn’t promised to any of us. We are all given one day at a time. In those twenty four hours we are given, how much of it is spent with the LORD? Do we even make time to spend with Him? He always has time for us no matter what. He never leaves us nor forsake us. He is always there to comfort us, to wipe our tears away, to pick us up when we fall, to provide for us, to make a way out of no way. When we think about all of those things, all of those blessings… doesn’t it bring tears to your eyes and humble your heart? Doesn’t it make you want to repent of your sins? Doesn’t His love and kindness mean anything to you? Doesn’t what He did for all of us matter? Yes, it does matter because He didn’t have to do it, but He did. Love did what love does. Love sacrificed His life for us, took the punishment that we deserved. He fell along the way to Calvary, but He got up every time. That is what LOVE did for us.

I am not giving an invitation today. This is something you need to work out for yourselves. This is something you really need to pray on, and think about. Do you care where you will spend eternity? The choice is yours today while it is called today. God bless you, Jesus loves you, and I do to, and there’s nothing you can do about it.ยฉ2022

Good Morning everyone!

Verse of the Day: Colossians 3:1

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/col.3.1.KJV

Jesus loves the little children.

My prayer is this: I pray that everyone who does not know Jesus as their LORD and Saviour will come to know Him as their LORD and Saviour before He returns. God sent His one and only Son into this world to save us that we would not have to die in our sins. The gift of salvation is free. Do you not want to work out your own salvation before the Lord with fear and trembling? God is a jealous God, He is a consuming fire. The Holy Ghost is here to lead and guide us in all of God’s righteous ways. Let His love grow in your heart today. Let Him fill you with love, happiness, joy, and faith.

Tomorrow isn’t promised to any of us, so, while the blood is still running warm in your veins, go to God in prayer, repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. It is totally and completely up to you where you want to spend eternity. The choice us yours. Jesus has already paid the price for us, the ultimate sacrifice when He shed His blood for us on the cross at Calvary. This is a price we will never be able to pay. He laid down His life for us, and He never decided not to do what He was sent here to do. All we have to do is accept Him into our life, invite Him to live in our heart forever.

If you are afraid to do it alone, call a friend who has been walking with the Lord for quite sometime and talk to them about the decision you are about to make, and they will be able to explain what it means to live for Jesus and to follow Him. Then when you are ready to make that walk, you will have someone to go with you. Just think how the angels in heaven will be rejoicing because one of God’s lost sheep finally returned home.

There are so many lost souls wondering around in this world looking for purpose, wondering what their life could be like if they had true happiness. Well, Jesus is that joy and happiness that we all need in our life. Times are hard right now, and Jesus is our only hope for a better life, and future. He is the only One who can give us what we truly need to survive, and that is the Holy Ghost.

Go to God today in prayer and pour out your heart to Him. He is waiting to hear from you. He wants to change your life for the better. It doesn’t matter what has happened in your life on your journey, but He is ready to give you a new life, and a new path to walk upon. With this being said, God bless you all. Stay safe.ยฉ2022

(Not) Seeing and Believing: A 10- Day Audio Reading Plan

(Not) Seeing and Believing http://bible.com/r/7hM

A clip from Tyler Perry’s House of Payne

(Not) Seeing and believing takes me right to Hebrews 11:1. Faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

It is sometimes hard to believe for something when we cannot see anything happening. We lose hope and we become discouraged along the way while we are waiting. One thing we can be sure of is this, if God said it, it will come to pass. This reminds me of those who had faith and believed but did not get to see the promise come to pass, but they died in faith.

Let’s look at Noah- By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7 NKJV)

Noah: Genesis 6:14, 22) : This is what God told Noah (v.14.)- Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

God is giving Noah directions as to how He wants things done. Noah followed God’s orders to the letter. He did not do it how he wanted to do it, but just exactly how God said to do it.

Do we always do things to the letter concerning the Word of God? Do we always do what God tells us to do when He tells us to do something that we don’t understand, or make since to us?

Maybe at the time when God told Noah to build the ark, he did not understand at first, but He obeyed God and did not question God about the matter. Are we like that? Do we do what we are told without asking why? Do we believe God by faith? Why is it so hard to obey God? He does not ask us to do things that He knows we cannot do. Even when we don’t understand the plan, or the purpose, we must still obey God.

(v. 22.)- Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

So, Noah did what God told him to do. He did not ask God a lot of questions as we do when God tells us to do something. He believed what God said.

When we do what God says for us to do, our lives will be better for us. He knows what is best for us. He knows how to protect us from the things that we do not know how to protect ourselves from. He can see the things that we cannot see, such as the flood. If everyone knew that God was going to flood the earth, I am quite sure they would have wanted to help Noah build the ark just to save themselves and their families..

This is why we must believe without seeing. Having eyes of faith and belief in what God says, one can never go wrong. Faith gives one hope that they may not have had.

Reading and studying about faith helps to keep my faith in God strong. It helps me to always remember that God is always working things out for my good. It helps me to remember that God is faithful when the enemy tries to make me believe that God is not faithful. It helps me to remember what God has brought me through in my life. It helps me to remember that He is always with me every day of my life.

What are you believing God for today? Is it something you have been wanting, or needing? Is it healing that you need? Whatever it is you are believing God for today, believe in faith, trust God, and He will bring it to pass. He will answer your every prayer.

This is a collaboration on the article and show I did on faith. The devotional study above is a 10 day audio Bible Study that can be found on You Version.

WORD STUDY: Romans 1:7

Romans 1:7- To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be *saints: Grace to you and *peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1:7 THE SAINTS of GOD

Saints” is the word that God uses for those who have taken Jesus Christ as their Saviour. It means set – apart ones (Numbers 6:2). In Greek it is the same word as “holy”, “consecrated”, or “sanctified”. It has nothing to do with a person’s own efforts at godliness. Saints are not special Christians addressed as “Saint” who are adored and appear in pictures, stained – glass windows, and altars. Rather, for His own purpose, God has set apart for Himself (Romans 8:29 and its note, “Predestination”) all who have believed in Jesus Christ as their Saviour. He calls them saints, though they are in themselves no better than other people. Other names for saints are Christians, children of God, the church of Christ, born – again believers. (Numbers 6:2)– Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, separate themselves to vow a vow of a *Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:

NUMBERS 6:2 A NAZARITE

The word must clearly to be distinguished from a Nazarene (an inhabitant of Nazareth). It can also be spelled “Nazirite” and means one who is separated.

Sometimes people wanted to give themselves to work for the Lord in a very special way. They might have decided that they wanted to do this special work for one or two months, or for one or two years, or even longer. To show that they had taken this vow of the Nazarite, they promised also to keep certain signs:

1. They would drink no wine.

2. They would let their hair grow long (men and women both took this vow).

3. They would not touch anything that was dead.

What corresponds to this in the New Testament is that we are urged to present our bodies to God as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1); and the Nazarite’s three signs correspond to self-control, willingness to bear reproach for Christ’s sake, and separation from sin. Well- known Nazarites were Samson (Judges 13-16) and John the Baptist (Luke 1:15).

ROMANS 8:29- For whom he did foreknow, he also did *predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

ROMANS 1:16-17 – SALVATION by FAITH

Salvation is in three tenses: past- every believer has been saved from the guilt and penalty of sin (Romans 3:19); present- every believer is being saved daily from the power of sin in his life (Romans 6:14); future – every believer will be saved from even the presence of sin in his nature, so that in heaven he will be without sin and become more like the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 13:11).

In bestowing salvation on us, God uses the way of faith instead of the way of works. He offers His righteousness only to those who believe (Romans 3:22). Faith, in the cases of salvation and righteousness, is distrusting self and trusting another- in this case, true before we see that it is.

So, we see faith throughout the whole Bible. We can go to the Word for faith, hope, truth, and salvation. Everything we need to know about life is in the Word of God. Open the Word up today and let it fill your spirit. Let it open your eyes today that you will be able to see the truth about life.

This has been very interesting. I was sharing a Bible reading audio plan when God spoke to my spirit again on faith, so, here is the message.

Normally I just post the plan, but today was different. I hope you all enjoy the plan, and the message God has given me to share. ยฉ2022

Where will your faith take you?

Verse of the Day: Deuteronomy 6:5

and thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Deuteronomy 6:5 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.6.5.KJV

We are to love the LORD with every fiber of our being. How can we not love Him? Look at all of the things He does for us. Look at what God did for us by sending His One and ONLY SON into this world to take the punishment we deserved. How can we NOT Love Him! If it were not for God, nothing would have been created in this world that we see with our own eyes, and that which we cannot see with our own eyes. We would not even be alive if it were not for Him. This is why this Scripture is so important. It is what we must always do for as long as we live and have our being. He loves us unconditionally, and His love for us will never fail. When we look through our spiritual eyes, loving God is the most important thing in the world. We are important to Him, but the question is this: IS HE IMPORTANT TO US? I ask this question because there are some who does not realize just how important God is. Just always know and remember that we are loved by God. When we feel as if no one else loves us, God does.

Jesus is waiting to hear from you today. Tell Him how much you love Him, and how much He means to you. Have a wonderful day. God bless, and stay safe.ยฉ2022
