Daily Devotional : Romans 8:1-2

God is good all of the time.

Everything belongs to God, even the coins with the Presidents faces on them, and including the green with their faces on it. What they failed to realize back then is that God was walking among them. They had everything they needed and did not even realize it. They were so wrapped up in building a kingdom on earth, when the real kingdom of God was already on earth. The ruler of the whole world walked on earth and they didn’t even know who He was. He was there in plain sight, but because their spiritual eyes were closed they did not realize or know who He was. Only Mary, his mother, Joseph, His step father, and the disciples knew who He was, and all of those He had healed.

Whenever I think about people today, I wonder if they really know who Jesus is. I wonder do they realize who they are really not wanting to get to know. Do they not realize that Jesus is God. I wonder do they realize that one day they are going to have to meet Him.

Who is Jesus to you? If you have not ever talked to Him, there is a first time for everything. All you have to do is call out His name and pour out your heart to Him, repent, believe He is God’s Son, and ask Him to come into your heart and be your personal LORD and SAVIOR. He is waiting to hear from you today and everyday. May God be praised and His name be raised. God bless everyone in Jesus’ name Amen to the glory of God. Have a wonderful day. ©2022

Evening Verse James 4:7

When we are spending time with God, and when we submit ourselves to Him, the devil has no other choice but to leave us alone. He does everything he can to distract us from spending time with God.

This is why we must always put God first as soon as God opens our eyes to see a new day we have never seen before. When we do that, the devil does not have a foothold on us, he cannot touch us.

When we pray to God, whether we are speaking to Him silently, out loud, or by writing, w e are putting God first. He sees everything, and He knows everything we do.

Spending time in the Word of God is putting on the full armor of God. His Word is our protection, from Genesis to Revelation we are protected from the devils schemes. Remember that the Word of God is our defense against the enemy. His Word is our weapon to fight the enemy everyday of our life.

If you have not talked to Jesus today, He is waiting to hear from you. He loves you. God bless you. Stay safe. Have a beautiful day.©2022

Devotional: What did God say He would do in this verse?

Confession is good for the soul.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1jn.1.9.KJV

Verse of the Day: 1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1jn.1.9.KJV

I am so glad that we serve a forgiving God! He is so loving and kind. He forgives us for the wrong things we do, and for the mistakes we make. I am also glad that He is the kind of Father who chastise us when we need it because it is for our own good and not to hurt or harm us, but for correction. What kind of Father would He be if He did not chastise His children? He does it because He loves us. Fathers who chastise their children loves them enough yo correct them, but those who don’t doesn’t care to teach their children right from wrong.

We all were born in sin, we all were born with a sinful nature, but as we grow and become old enough to know right from wrong, it is our decision how we will live our life; righteously, or wrong. God is telling us what He does for us in the Scripture above. We can get before God in prayer and confess our sins to Him so we can live righteously before Him. God bless everyone in the name of Jesus. Amen.©2022

When You Are Losing Hope

Sometimes when we go through a tragedy and don’t know why, it can cause a person to lose hope in everything. We may never know why things happen in our life, or in the lives of others, but I suppose everything is not for us to know. We live from day to day that the LORD gives us and we make mistakes all day long because we are human beings, but God doesn’t hold them against us, He forgives us.

This is what the Scripture tells us about hope: Psalm 34:17-The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. (KJV)

Hope- (1.) a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

Hope (2.) a feeling of trust.

So therefore, we cannot lose hope in God just because of what is going on in the world today. We can trust Him to always be here for us, provide for us, take care of us, and make ways for us where there seems to be no way. When I think about hope, it reminds me of faith.

This is what the Scripture tells us about faith: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. “And without faith it is impossible to please God, for He who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to thine own understanding.

Hope, faith, and understanding is all we have during a time like this with everything that is going on in the world right now. Times are hard right now, and we can only hope that God will make things better. It may not happen right now, but I believe that it will in His own time. We have to pray and have faith that God will turn things around for the better. I know some may think that it is impossible to have hope in these dark times, but it is. When we think about all of the things God has brought us through in the past, it will give us hope. When we think about all of the things He has done in the past, and how He created all of the beautiful things we enjoy, we can have faith. When we do not understand something, we can have understanding by going to Him in prayer and asking. When we think about all of the good things God has blessed us with, it is easy to have hope.
My hope is that God will resolve this war that is going on. I pray that there will soon be a cure for these viruses we are facing every day. What else can we do except pray? Prayer is powerful, I know that all too well. I have seen God work many miracles in my life, and in the lives of others. There’s nothing that He can’t do. Nothing is too big or too small that He cannot handle.

We can have hope, faith, and trust in God every day of our lives on this earth. If you have not talked to Jesus today, or in a long time, or maybe never, He is waiting to hear from you. He is ready to give you a new life in Him to spend eternity with Him forever. Just remember that He loves us all with an unending love that will never fail. Until next time, God bless everyone, stay safe, have a wonderful day, and thank you all for joining me on my journey with Food for the Soul. ©2022
