14 Days In The New Year

It is 14 days now since the New Year has been in. The weather has changed many times. The sun still shines but it is still cold. #Do Not Be Fooled By The Sun is a post I shared maybe three years ago, I wrote it during a time like this. I am not enjoying this weather because it makes me hurt. My joints do not like this weather. Last year when I turned fifty, I did not think I would feel my age because I never have. This is all so new to me. I will not let it rob me of my joy though.

It is pretty outside. The coldness makes it hard to sit outside. I will be very happy when Spring arrives. This year I want to plant some flowers, and maybe a little garden with some fruits and vegetables. I may even grow some potted plants. Edible flowers sounds good too. Micro greens are good too. I am feeling very creative right now. I can get everything I need at my job. This is going to be a beautiful year for me.🌹🪴⛲️👨‍🌾🏡 Last year I really didn’t get to do some of the things I wanted to do because I was focused on school and work, those are still top priority. I just have to make time to do the things I want to do this year.

I have a lot to do this year. I have grown as a person spiritually. I have learned a lot of new things. I have learned to love myself more. I have learned how to say “NO” instead of always saying “YES”, it is very exhilarating and liberating. I always think about others. I have always been this way, but it is time I start thinking about myself and what I want. I know that I have not shared any posts on my site for a long time. I had to step away from it for a while because of all of the changes. I just needed a break from WP. I have thought about you all.

I wrote this during the New Year of the 14th. I just updated it, but now it is six months in the year, and I just wanted to say that it is in six more months that this year will be gone. This year is going by very fast. Can you believe it? In six months it will be January again, the start of another New Year. Well, Happy Independence 🇺🇸 Day everyone!
