Today I rededicated my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. I felt in my spirit that it was something I needed, and wanted to do. I am going through so much, and I feel lost, alone, and confused because there has been a lot going on in my health. It’s funny how one minute someone can be feeling fine, and the next minute they are as sick as they can be. Sometimes things can happen like the domino effect, one thing after the other simultaneously without any warning signs.
By me rededicating my life to the LORD Jesus Christ, it made my soul feel better, and it made me feel better about myself even though everything is upside down right now. I feel peaceful right in this moment. I am not worried about anything anymore. I know that God is with me because I can feel HIS presence. Whatever I face, I will not face it alone. I know that He will never leave me nor forsake me. I know that there will be trials that will come, but I will not have to go through them alone. I know that I am safe in HIS arms. He covers me with His unfailing love. He protects me wherever I go. I can rest knowing that He is watching over me. I know Jesus said that with Him all things are possible, and without Him things are impossible. I may be back to normal in a little while when I am well again.
I wanted to share this good news with you to show you that things are going to get better. I will not let this illness stop me from making my dreams come true. I am going to beat this, I refuse to let it beat me. I will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living. My faith has grown even more, and my trust in God is completely solid. Well, friends, it has become another day. Time has gotten past me. I am going to say until the Lord awakens me when the sun comes up, have a blessed weekend. Stay safe. As always, thank you for joining me on my journey with Food for the Soul.
I would like to visit San Antonio, TX. I have seen so many pictures of it, and travel shows where people are traveling there and having a good time. It looks like there are so many beautiful places there to explore. When I saw it on the travel channel, I could just see myself sitting and eating in one of their fine eateries, shopping in some of the department stores, and sitting in one of their parks enjoying a sunset.
I don’t have a bucket list, but there are a lot of places I want to visit. I would like to visit the Alamo that’s located there as well. I would like to see it with my eyes instead of looking at it in a book, and replicas of it in movies. Learning about it in history class when I was in middle school is what was interesting to me about it. I never really liked history, but it was something about learning about the Alamo that made me want to visit there someday.
Another city I would like to visit is New York City. I would like to go and visit Ground Zero where the Twin Towers once stood and say a prayer. I would like to go sightseeing, shop, take pictures, go out to eat and have a good time. I would like to go to Rockefeller Center and Times Square. I would also like to go see the neighborhood where Coming to America was made. I would like to go and see the business district where the highrise buildings are and take some pictures there. I would like to go and see the churches that are there. I would also like to go and see where Sex in the City was made that’s one of my still favorite shows. There is so much I would want to do if I could ever go and take a vacation there.
The list goes on and on. These are just two of the places I would like to visit someday. If I never get to, I know that I can always Google those places take pictures of them, and put them on a vision board.
What are some places that you would like to visit someday? What would you do there if you ever went? Well, until next time, keep traveling, and safe journeys.
