Every year this subject comes up, so, I Googled this question and this is what I found. Click on the link above if you would like to read about it. I just get so tired of people acting like it is wrong to celebrate Christmas and put up a tree with decorations and lights. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior. It is not about the gifts being bought, but it is about God sending His Son, born of a virgin into this world to save us from our sins, to lay down His life for us so we can be free from the grips of sin and eternal damnation. He is the gift of the whole world. He laid down His life for everyone that through Him the world be saved.
I will always celebrate the birth of Jesus. He is my Savior and yours also. So, think before saying that Christmas is a pagan holiday simply because you cannot spell Christmas without spelling Christ, because without Him, there wouldn’t be Christmas at all.
When I use the word “You”, I am talking in general, no certain body. Merry Christmas.
