Everything belongs to God, even the coins with the Presidents faces on them, and including the green with their faces on it. What they failed to realize back then is that God was walking among them. They had everything they needed and did not even realize it. They were so wrapped up in building a kingdom on earth, when the real kingdom of God was already on earth. The ruler of the whole world walked on earth and they didn’t even know who He was. He was there in plain sight, but because their spiritual eyes were closed they did not realize or know who He was. Only Mary, his mother, Joseph, His step father, and the disciples knew who He was, and all of those He had healed.

Whenever I think about people today, I wonder if they really know who Jesus is. I wonder do they realize who they are really not wanting to get to know. Do they not realize that Jesus is God. I wonder do they realize that one day they are going to have to meet Him.

Who is Jesus to you? If you have not ever talked to Him, there is a first time for everything. All you have to do is call out His name and pour out your heart to Him, repent, believe He is God’s Son, and ask Him to come into your heart and be your personal LORD and SAVIOR. When we are spending time with God, and when we submit ourselves to Him, the devil has no other choice but to leave us alone. He does everything he can to distract us from spending time with God.

This is why we must always put God first as soon as God opens our eyes to see a new day we have never seen before. When we do that, the devil does not have a foothold on us, he cannot touch us.

When we pray to God, whether we are speaking to Him silently, out loud, or by writing, w e are putting God first. He sees everything, and He knows everything we do.

Spending time in the Word of God is putting on the full armor of God. His Word is our protection, from Genesis to Revelation we are protected from the devils schemes. Remember that the Word of God is our defense against the enemy. His Word is our weapon to fight the enemy everyday of our life.
