The Full Armour of God Ephesians 6:11

Put in the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

The whole armour is the Word of God. Part of our armour is prayer, faith, and trust in God and His Word. When we pray, God gives us strength to make it through whatever we are going through on a daily basis. When the enemy see us praying, it frightens him, because he knows that God is going to fight our battles for us, and he knows that he does not stand a chance coming towards us. This is why we must stay in prayer no matter whether we are happy or sad. The enemy will do anything to kill our joy that God has given to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. He will do everything he can to make us think about our past, and to blame God for all of the bad things that happens in our life. Sometimes things will happen for no apparent reason. We do not know why things happen; they just do. But just know that when things like that happens, we are not going through the hurt of it alone. We are not suffering alone, we are not crying alone, and when we feel like we cannot go on, He is there to give us strength to carry on until we have made it through the things that we are going through. The blood of Jesus is our covering from the enemy, His blood heals us from head to toe, and the love He has for us will never end, it endures forever. He is our strength when we are weak. He is our shelter from the storm, He is our way maker. He is our everything.

EPHESIANS 6:11-13 (KJV)

v.11-Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

v.12- For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

v.13-Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Standing on the Word of God is our protection against the enemy. No matter what, we can trust God. When our faith becomes weak, we must ask God to strengthen our faith so we will not waiver in trusting Him, so we will not give up on our faith, or give up on ourselves. Life isn’t easy, there will always be something to test our faith in God. When that happens, that is where we pray even harder.

That is when we pour out everything from our heart to God and let Him fight our battles for us. We are never alone. He is always with us; even when we don’t feel His presence, He is there. He knows everything that we will ever go through in our life. He knows our ups and downs, and every tear we shed. He knows when our heart will be broken, our many disappointments. He knows that we cannot do anything on our own. He knows that we need Him every day we live, and even when we go home to be with Him, He will be there to lead and guide us all of the way.

I want you to know that Jesus loves you very much. He is ready to give you a new life in Him. Do not wait until it is too late. Life is too short to wait. With the way things are going on in the world now, Jesus could come back at any time, but the question is this: Will you be ready? Will you be ready to say goodbye to this world? It is your choice where you spend eternity. Choose eternal life.

This is what John had to say in John 3:16-18-For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)

So, with that being said, the choice is yours to make. It doesn’t matter what you have done, where you are from, or the color of your skin; God created all of us, and He doesn’t want any of His children to perish. I know that things look dark right now in the world, but Jesus is the light in all of this darkness. Let Him break through that darkness in your life so that you to may walk in the light of His love.

As always, thank you for joining me on this journey with Food for the Soul. Merry Christmas everyone! Jesus loves you.
