Verse of the Day: 2 Corinthians 5:17

Your past is behind you. You are a new creation.

Mrs. Shaunelius L. Sterns

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2co.5.17.KJV

Good morning everyone! Today is a beautiful day that we have never seen before, so thank God for another day to be on this side of heaven. Let us not forget all of the wonderful things that the Lord has done for us.

I want to talk about the Scripture Verse 2 Corinthians 5:17. Here in this Scripture, Paul is telling us that when we give our life to Christ, we become new; a new creature, which is a new creation in Him. We do not live like we once did. We do not continue to do the things that we once did before we came to Christ. We are no longer the person we once were; we are a new creation. We start to do the things that Jesus teaches us through the Word of God. It is not easy to do a complete 360° turn, but Jesus is always there to help us along the way. We have been reborn again, we are like new born babies learning how to do things that we have never done before, such as reading the Bible everyday. I can admit that when I first got Baptized, I had not read the Bible in years, but I had always known Jesus. I had a hard time staying awake when I would try to read. I know I have spoken about this before, but when I read this Scripture Verse, it takes me back to when I first got Baptized.

We all have to start somewhere in life to get to know Jesus. Let’s start here today. Just remember, it is not where you are coming from, but where you are going. All things are made new when you come to Christ. He will not turn anyone away. He wants to make you new all over again, flaws and all. We all have a past, present, and a future. We all have had struggles in life, but during all of those struggles we have all faced, Jesus has been there with us through them all.

Let Him change your life for the better. Let Him put His love into your heart. Let Him give you a new life in Him, but the only way that is going to happen is through repentance. You must repent, which means to turn from your sinful and wicked ways, and apologize to God. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Believe that on the third day, God, His Father raised His Only Son from the dead, and ask Him to come into your heart and be your personal Lord and Savior. That is all there is to it. Jesus will forever live in your heart. When you do that, you have been made new and you are now apart of God’s family forever. Praise God!

Do not worry about your past any longer. You are no longer who you were then. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. If you have not talked to Him today, do so. He is waiting to hear from you. Jesus loves us all. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He will be with us even until the end of the age. World without end, Amen, Amen. Have a blessed and wonderful day.Š2022

Amen!

Explanation of Scripture: 2 Corinthians Chapter 5: Various Verses

5:1-An house not made with hands. This is the spiritual body that believers receive at the resurrection, in contrast to the earthly house (the natural body) , which is like a tent in the sense that is just a temporary abiding place (see 1 Corinthians 15:40, 42-44).

5:3- We shall not be found naked. Nakedness is the result of sin. Unbelievers are spiritually naked and can never be clothed with the glorified body that Christians will enjoy.

5:9- Labour. Are ambitious- make it a point of honor.

5:9- Accepted of Him- Well pleasing to God.

5:10-We must all appear before the judgement seat.- This must not be confused with the Great White Throne Judgement before which unbelievers will appear. All Christians will appear before the Judgement seat of Christ (see 1 Corinthians 3:12).

5:14-If one died for all, then were all dead.- All believers are regarded by God as having died with Christ upon the cross (Romans 6:6). The old self- life must therefore be considered dead by faith (Romans 6:11).

5:16- Know we him no more.- We have entered a new relationship with Christ through the Spirit, so the old fleshy relationship (or lack of relationship) is over.

5:17-Creature. – Creation.

5:18- The ministry of reconciliation.- All Christians should share this ministry, that is, the privilege of telling sinners that they may be “reconciled to God” (verse 20).

5:19- The world. – Mankind.

5:20- Ambassadors.- Speaking the Word of and working as led by Christ our King.

5:20- Reconciled.- This means to be thoroughly changed. It speaks of the sinner becoming a new creature through Christ before he can meet with God.

I hope these Scriptures will inspire you to continue reading through 2 Corinthians to see all that God has to say to us through the Apostle Paul.

Until we meet again, be blessed in the Lord Jesus, our King. Š2022

Our soon coming King!

King Jesus!

Verse of the Day: Psalm 24:1

The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein. Psalm 24:1 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.24.1.KJV

We all belong to the Creator of the universe. Everything that was created was created by Him.

Mrs. Shaunelius L. Sterns

Good morning everyone! I pray everyone is safe and well. We all belong to God. He created all life on this earth. He spoke everything into existence. When reading this verse, we are reminded of who we belong to. We are reminded of what belongs to God.

He holds it all in His hands.

Everything is going to be alright. We must hold on to our faith in God. We cannot give up on our God because He will never give up on us. Even in these dark times Jesus is shining light for the whole world to see, but it can only be seen through the eyes of faith. God bless. Jesus loves us all, stay safe.Š2022

Walking on the straight and narrow.

Verse of the Day: Amos 5:24

But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. Amos 5:24 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/amo.5.24.KJV

Today is a beautiful day! God is Great! Let His love shine in you today, and every day. I pray everyone is doing alright.

Beautiful.

I chose this picture because it makes since according to the Scripture Verse. The red leaves makes the reflection of the water look red. The redness reminds me of the blood that Jesus shed for us. Doesn’t it make you think about that? To me, the waterfall represents the water which flowed from His side when He was pierced with the spear; blood and water flowed from His side. What does this remind you of concerning Jesus? God bless you all. Have a blessed day.Š2022

Verse of the Day: Ephesians 4:2

with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Ephesians 4:2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/eph.4.2.KJV

I know all to well about long suffering, and I know I am not the only one. During that long suffering, we have to learn to forebear one another with all lowliness, meekness, and love. That can be hard to do if the person, or people are hard to get along with. We have to turn the other cheek and keep moving forward. God bless. Have a wonderful day.Š2022

This is Who I Am

I am the type of person who judges no one in any shape, form, fashion, or manner. I don’t judge anyone even if they make a mistake, why? Because we are all human beings who are not by any means perfect. I cannot stand judgemental people who think they are better than others at whatever it is. I don’t need any backlash because of what I say about anything. I say what I mean, and I mean what I say whenever I say it. So what if a person has a typo here and there, that gives no one the right to judge the other person. It does not matter how long someone has been writing, they will make a mistake, and as of God being clear about things, He still used people who were not perfect to follow Him and lead His people just as He does today, so don’t judge others. The same way you judge someone, God is going to judge you with the same measure of judgement that you judged someone else with. Watch what you let come out of your mouth about people and the mistakes they make, because there is not one person on the face of this earth that is perfect in anything. Jesus is the only perfect person who walked the face of this earth. It will take people a lifetime of practice to do just that one thing. This is what is wrong with the world today; Everybody judging others when we ought to be praying for one another, and for God to deliver this world from the sins that is plaguing this world. Stop being petty about nonsense things. Sweep around your own front door before you try to sweep around someone elses. Look at the plank in your own eye and remove it before you try to remove someone elses. Clean your own house, and wash your own garments before you go judging others mistakes. The truth is the truth and I will not apologize for it!Š2022

Verse of the Day: Luke 9:23-24

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. Luke 9:23‭-‬24 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/luk.9.23-24.KJV

Following Jesus is no joke. We have to be serious about it. It is nothing to be taken lightly. Everyday Jesus faced ridicule because of what He was teaching, the miracles He performed, and people wanted to kill Him. He did not let any of that stop Him from doing the will of the Father. He was faithful until the end. Are we that strong to face the things that Jesus faced? Are we strong enough to deny ourselves daily and follow after Jesus no matter the cost? These are things we should and need to think about. Following Jesus is not easy, but when we decide to live for Him, those are some of the things we will encounter as Christians. Jesus had faith and He is God’s Son. Can we have that same kind of faith, that mustard seed faith to move mountains? Everyday we will face something and we will need faith to bring us through it. Jesus is a prime example of faith. He is who we can draw faith from. When we look at all of the things He went through for us; Even the death on a cross, a tree , mind you, He never complained about it. Even when He was being beaten, He never complained or questioned God as to why this sacrifice had to be the way it was. Jesus knew what He was going to face when it was all said and done, but He also knew what the complete outcome was going to be concerning Him being raised on the third day.

If we knew what was going to happen everyday of our lives, would we be able to handle it as Jesus did? Would we be able to handle knowing when we were leaving this earth as Jesus did? The answers to those questions are No!, and No! We would lose our mind. We would not be able to handle it at all. That is why it is not meant for us to know. Do you know how much God loves you? Do you know Him? Do you know that He sent His only Son into this world to take all of our sins upon Himself and give up His life for us so we can live free from sin? We were bought at a price when Jesus shed His blood for us, and that is something we will never be able to repay for as long as we live. Do not let time pass you by. Go to God in prayer and repent of your sinful ways and believe on the Lord Jesus and ask Him to come into your heart and be your personal Lord and Savior. It will be the best decision you will ever make in your life for your eternal life. God does not want any of His children to perish in a lake of fire in a devils hell. Why? Because it was not created for human beings, but I know there will be some there who chose not to follow Jesus and believe in God. Salvation is free. Where do you want to spend eternity? Do you want to spend it in heaven with Jesus, or in hell with the devil? The choice is yours, because as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Don’t take this the wrong way. I am sharing the truth in love because I care about your soul. God bless you all. Stay safe.Š2022

Biblical Holiness for Ordinary People

https://spark.bible/HRvSxv0UEmb

Enjoy this video. It lifted me up. We want to be Holy, but we have to ask God how to be Holy. We are made holy when we are in His presence. His Holiness fills us, fills our heart. God wants us to be holy because He is Holy. We must ask God to change our hearts to be filled with His Holy Spirit that others may see Him in us. All praise be to God the Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who was and is and is to come. World without end Amen.Š2022

Jesus will be there for us when no one else will. ” – S.SternsŠ2022

Verse of the Day: Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.6.23.KJV

As we live from day to day, we do not know what may or may not happen, so we have to protect ourselves from sin. We should pay close attention to what God is telling us through His Word. His words are living and breathing. Jesus is the living word.

Look at the Scripture above and read it out loud so you can hear the words being spoken into your ears. Faith comes by hearing. When you speak God’s Word it penetrates into your heart and soul. It is better to read it aloud so your faith can be strengthened by it. It gives us life to our soul to stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Hold on to God and never let go of his hand. He lives in our heart. He loves us so much. He gives us one day at a time to make things right with Him before Jesus returns. He does not want any of His children going to a devils hell. Go to Him in prayer and let His Spirit wash over you and cleanse you from the inside out. Ask and invite Him to come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior today while the blood is still running warm in your veins. Have a wonderful, blessed, and joy filled day! Stay safe. Amen.Š2022

Verse of the Day: Isaiah 60:1

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.60.1.KJV

Arise, thank God for another day that He has given to us. Let the love of Jesus shine in you and through you that others may see Him in you. May the LORD bless you all on today and everyday. Amen.Š2022

Verse of the Day: Psalm 55:22

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.55.22.KJV

We do not have to carry our burdens, we can give our burdens to God. He will give us the strength to stay strong. We can have faith that God will work things out for us. Our faith will be strengthen while we wait on God to work everything out for us. When He works if out, it will be worked out for good. God bless.Š2022

Morning Meditation Prayer: Proverbs 4:23

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4: 23 Shared from Bible Home for Android https://bit.ly/bible-home-play

What’s in your heart today?

Verse of the Day 2 Corinthians 9:6

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 2 Corinthians 9:6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2co.9.6.KJV

May God bless whatever is put into His hands. May God bless your year bountifully with increase abundantly. When giving, give with a cheerful heart because God loves a cheerful giver. Give from your heart and not out of the abundance of your riches. Give because you love Jesus. Give because He gave His life so that we may live free from sin. Even though there is sin in the world, we do not have to participate in it. We do not have to be involved with it, or associated with it.

When you plant good seeds, good things will come from those good seeds planted. When you plant bad seeds, bad things comes from it. I am talking about the choices people make in their life. For every action and decision made, there is an outcome. That is why it is important to make good decisions when deciding whether or not to do something.

For instance; Judas was one of the twelve disciples who followed Jesus, but Jesus knew what kind of person he was, but He did not judge him. He knew what was in their hearts, just like He knows what’s in our hearts. Jesus knew that Judas was going to be the one to betray Him, just like He knew that Peter was going to deny Him three times. The point I am making is this: Two different outcomes for two different people who did wrong. Jesus still used Peter in ministry even though he denied Him, but Judas hanged himself because of what he did. Now, all of that happened at one time on the same night Jesus was arrested in the garden. Peter got a chance to make things right with Jesus, but Judas did not. The question is this: What do you think you would have done if it were you who had to make the decision to betray Jesus or not, and what would you have done if you were the one who denied Jesus as Peter did? Would you weep as Peter did, or would you hang yourself as Judas did?

Make decisions that you know will have a good outcome for you, and not only that, but to bring God glory, honor, and praise. Ask , seek, and knock in prayer to our Heavenly Father the things He would have us do for Him concerning the Kingdom of God, and not just what we want for ourselves.

God is good to us everyday. We must thank Him everyday for what He does for us. Where would we be without Him?

Jesus loves us all. He laid down His life for us. We were bought at a price we will never be able to repay. If you have not talked to Jesus today, or if you have never talked to Him, do so while the blood is running warm in your veins. He can and will change your life when you repent, which means to turn from your wicked ways and believe that Jesus is the Son of God who was raised from the dead on the third day by the Father in heaven, and ask Him to come into your heart to be your personal Lord and Savior. Accept Him today. It will be the best and greatest decision you will make for all eternity. He is ready to give you a new life in Him. He is ready to give you peace and joy that the world can never take from you. He is ready to give you more blessings that you may not even have room enough to contain. This is not fine print, but real truth. God bless and keep you safe in the palm of His mighty hands. Amen.Š2022

Verse of the Day: Psalm 119:105

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.119.105.KJV

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word of truth. Thank You for showing us that Your Word is a guide for our life, and a light to light our path that we may not have to walk in darkness. Thank You for being a light for me. Thank You for shining bright even in this darkness we are facing due to what’s going on in the world. There is always hope and faith to hold on to.

Hold on to faith.
