We are people who sometimes have a one track mind. We are only focused on the matter at hand. We do not take the time to stop and think about the things that we are forgetting to do. Before we know it, the day is gone and we still for whatever reason do not get everything done that we wanted to do. Do we ever think about what God does for us and thank Him? Do we ever take the time to stop and smell the roses? These are the things that are important for us to do if we want to be happy. When we slow down we can think clearly. We can get things done and not be frustrated all of the time. When we stop and thank God for all that He has done for us, and is doing for us, and for what He will do for us in the future, we will be in peace. We will not worry about the things that are going on around us, I am not saying we will not care, but I am saying that we will not focus all of our time on one thing.

When we focus on God, and keep our mind stayed on Jesus, everything else is just shadows in our eyes. So we must not lose sight of who our provider is. What if God forgot about us, how would we feel? What would we think? Would we give up thinking that He does not care for us? I know that God will be silent, but that does not mean that He has forgotten about us. We are always on His mind. He is always thinking about us. We are His children, He will always be thinking about us and what we need, and want. He knows everything that we do not know about what we need and want. God is good, and we need to acknowledge that even in the hard times, and in the dark times that we are facing right now, He is working things out for our good. I know things are not looking good because of what we are facing, but there is still hope for a better tomorrow whether we believe it or not. God is always doing new things that we cannot see because of our lack of faith. Darkness hides the light that is before us, but when we keep our focus on the One who created it all, we can see even in the darkness that we are facing right now. When we hold on to our faith, and hold on to God’s unchanging hand all things are possible to those who believe. This is why we must not give up hope. We must not let this darkness cause us to lose our hope in God. We must keep the faith! We cannot forget all of the benefits that God has given to us, and all of the wonderful things he does for us on a daily basis. It is a blessing to be on the earth one more time; everyday that He allows us to be here on this side of heaven is a blessing and a miracle, because if could be the other way around, we could be at home wit Him, so we must never forget about God.

I know that we get busy and distracted with the things that we have to do on a daily basis, but we must find time, and make time to spend with God. Talk to Him through out your day. Tell Him what you are going through. Pour your heart out to Him, He is listening to every word. He is always ready for His children to come to Him with everything, and I mean everything. It is not like He doesn’t already know anyways.

When you read these twenty two verses in Psalm 103, let it sink in. Don’t just skim through it. God is telling us beautiful things. He is telling us the things that He does for us. He wants us to know these things because it is important to Him that we know these things about Him. We can count on God when we cannot count on anyone else. That is a fact, not fiction.

He tells us about a lot of amazing things through His Word, we just have to pay attention when we are reading; that is the main reason why I always have my tablet to take notes in, or I take notes on my computer, or my phone. I am always ready for God to show me something I need to know.

I want you to know that Jesus loves you. He is always ready to listen to what you have to say, it des not matter what you have to talk about, He is always ready for you to come to Him and lay it at His feet.

I can say that I have often forgotten to carry my problems to Him. I can truly say this about myself. It is because sometimes I be going through so much, and I try to carry it on my own, but I have to make myself remember to give all my burdens to Him. Sometimes you just have to give Him your tears when words will not come, simply because of the depth of the hurt and pain that you are carrying. I have been down that road more times than I care to count, but afterwards I feel better…not so weighed down by burdens. There is nothing wrong with that. We all go through things in our lives that we just cannot handle on our own. We need Jesus everyday. I always call on Him. It may not be out loud all of the time, but I do call on Him, even when I am happy I call on Him. Why do I call on Him when I am happy? I call on Him because I always need Him. It does not matter if I am happy or sad, I am going to call on Him.

When I heard this song, it made me happy. When you have that Sunday morning feeling you cannot help but feel the presence of the Lord around you. Every day can feel like Sunday when you put God first in your life. When we do that we know that everything is going to be alright no matter what we are going through. When everything is turning up side down, we know everything will be alright. Just like now with what we are facing, we know that everything is going to be alright. When you listen to this song, let the lyrics tell you the story and brighten your day.

When I watched the video I could not stop humming the song. When you are feeling down, hum the tune to this song, it will make you smile.

The blue Morpho is among the largest butterflies in the world, with wings spanning from five to eight inches. As its common name implies, the blue morpho butterfly’s wings are bright blue, edged with black. [I found this information on Google].

I always like to look up information about what thigs are so I will know what they are when I see it. I have been seeing these butterflies for a very long time but did not know what kind they were. Now that I know what kind they are, I can continue to do research about them to learn more about them. I have always liked butterflies. I can remember when I would catch them and play with them and let them go. Those were the fun times of my childhood. When looking at them, I always wondered how they would fly so fast with their wings being so fragile. I have always found them to be beautiful; I wish I could go outside, catch one like I did when I was a kid, play with it for a while and then let it go. That would be the highlight of my day. It would bring back so many memories.

CHANGING OF THE SEASON

As we all know this is the last month of Summer! I know that some of us hate to see it leave, but it is almost time for it to leave. It has been so hot this year. I did not enjoy Summer this year because of everything that is going on concerning the viruses. I hope next year will be better.

Now that Autumn is on the way it should start to cool off after a while. The atmosphere should smell different, and everything should be more calm within. For me, Autumn is preparing for Fall to come; I love the Fall because it is my time of the year, it is the season in which I was born. I love seeing the colours of the leaves in Autumn, they are all so bright and pretty especially when the sun is getting ready to set at the end of the day.

WHEN AUTUMN COMES

When Autumn comes, it gives me the feelings of new beginnings because the former things are leaving, and new things are getting ready to come. When I see new colours, I think about what it must have been back in the days of long ago, and how people may have come from miles around to see the changing of the colours of the leaves on the trees. It makes me think about how people harvest their crops that they have waited to see come through. It makes me think of the harvest fest that I have seen in movies where people get together and celebrate the harvesting of their crops. Autumn and Fall for me is the time for new romances, new memories, new friends, and new goals to be set. It is the time for walking in the park by yourself, or walking holding hands with that special someone. It is the time for having romantic picnics, and enjoying the season of the year.

DO WE EVER WALK ALONE?

When I was very young, I always wondered if I was alone when I was walking here and there. The thing is, I never felt like I was alone. I always felt like someone was with me, but I just could not see them. I always felt this presence beside me, but I could not touch it. I was never afraid to walk in the dark. Walking in the dark was just like walking in the light to me. To this day, I am not afraid to walk in the dark, it is still just like walking in the light to me.

As I grew older, I began to understand why I was never afraid to walk in the darkness. I began to understand that I was never alone day, or night. I began to understand that Jesus was with me all of the time; all of my years of growing up He was with me. I was never alone. Even when I am asleep He is watching over me. When I have nightmares, I call His name and I am alright. I never have to worry about being alone. When tears are streaming down my face, He is there to comfort me. When my heart is broken, He is there to make my heart feel better. When I am worried about something, He is there to take my worries away. When I am awake and cannot sleep, He is there sitting beside me. When I need a listening ear, He is there for me to talk to. When I need wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, He is thereto give it to me. When I need guidance, He is there to show me the way. When I was afraid of something, He was there to calm my fears. When my whole world was turning up side down, He was there to hold me together. When I felt like ends were not going to meet, He brought everything together. I could go on and on about what Jesus has done for me. It would take a lifetime to tell it all. What I am saying is that we can count on Jesus. We can count on Jesus when we cannot count on anyone else. He will always be there for us; He will never leave us nor forsake us. We never have to worry about being alone.

I chose this song because every time I think about what Jesus did for us all, this song comes to my mind. We were not there at the cross when it all happened, but our sins were there. We have to understand that it was our sins that put Him on that tree. It was God’s choice to send His Son into this world to die for our sins because He loved us so much. Had Jesus not done what He did for us, things would still be the same as they were before HE came to die for our sins. I am glad He took our place, because we could not have gone through what He did for us. We would be still trying to live under the Law of Moses instead of living under the Law of Grace, there would not be any remission for our sins; we would still be separated from God. We would not be able to go to God on our own in the name of Jesus; a Priest would still have to go to God for us on our behalf. It is because of what Jesus done for us that we no longer have to be separated from God for all eternity.

Just know that Jesus loves you. He is always waiting to hear form you. He is always waiting for you to come to Him so He can change your life for the better. You do not have to be perfect to go to Jesus, you can go to Him just the way you are. Just know that when you feel alone, you are never alone. He always has you on His mind; always thinking about you. No matter where you are in your life, and no matter where you have been in your life, He will accept you just the way you are. Life is not perfect for anyone, but we are human beings who serve a Great God. We are all sinners who are saved by God’s Amazing Grace! When you give your life to Jesus Christ, you no longer have to live in sin, you are no longer a slave to sin; you are free in Jesus Christ. Your old life is dead, you are a new person; a new creation in Jesus Christ. All of your sins are washed away and He remembers your sins no more. When you make that decision to live for Jesus Christ, it will be the best decision you will make in your whole entire life forever. All praise be to God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who was and is and is to come. World without end, Amen.

On the day Jesus was taken up in the cloud, all of the disciples went their way to preach the gospel just as Jesus instructed them to do. He said He would always be with us even until the end of the age.

We are to do what Jesus said also; every believer. We are not supposed to keep it to ourselves. We are to lead everyone to Jesus who is lost. It can be very hard to do because some people have never heard of Him before, so they may not want to listen to what we have to say about Him and what He did for all of us. There are some who are willing to listen and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The question is this, why is it so hard to share the gospel? I guess it is because of rejection, persecution, redicule, and fear. Christians are persecuted everyday, even on the jobs where we work. We are taken advantage of because of who we serve. I know this for myself because I have been treated like this before, more than once. Some expect us to turn the other cheek, but at times it is hard to do. I for one am the kind of Christian who defends herself. I will not tolerate being disrespected by anyone. If I do not speak up for myself who will? Yes, we are to be peaceable people, but we still cannot let people run over us. Yes, we are to love our enemies and pray for them even though it is hard to do in our own strength. We have to ask Jesus to give us the strength and help us to do it. We have to pray for the just and the unjust. Prayer and forgiveness goes hand in hand.

Before I became a Christian, forgiving others was hard for me. When I became a Christian, I learned that forgiveness was for me so that no one would have power over me. When you forgive someone who has wronged you, you are setting yourself free. You are putting them in God’s hands so He can deal with them Himself. When we forgive others God forgives us, because in order to be forgiven we must forgive.

Jesus said,”Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” He was talking about them and us, and everyone who would ever be born on this earth that is human. We all need forgiveness because not any of us is perfect. We make mistakes every day. We fall short of God’s glory every day. The question is this, will we ever get it right? Even preachers make mistakes. We all need Jesus. It does not matter how long someone has been in ministry, we all need Jesus. No matter how old or young we are, we will always need Jesus.
