Sometimes we go through things in our lives that we do not understand. There is so much sin in the world, it has been like this for a very long time. The world has changed since the beginning of time, but sin still remains. Sickness, death, and famine is still here. There are not any cures for certain diseases, and now we are still going through this pandemic with COVID-19. The vaccines are here, but some are still losing their lives due to it. What is it going to take for all of this to come to an end? When will we start seeing numbers drop from this virus? Will there ever be a cure for it? This is something that we will always have to keep ourselves from by doing our best to say safe. We still have to follow the rules that were set in place for us when it first started last year. There is nothing wrong with keeping the precautions in place… it is just to keep us protected. We do not know who has what, so I think it is a good thing to still follow all of the rules. It has been very hard trying to adapt to something like this. Who would have ever thought that we would be going through something like this?
Second Chronicles 7:14–God is telling us what we need to do for Him to heal or land. Are we going do what He is telling us to do, or are we going to ignore what He is telling us to do? The choice is ours. We are still going through this pandemic of COVID-19 just as we were last year when it first came. We are still wearing our masks, and social distancing as we were before, so what has changed? What is different except the vaccines that are here now? People are still losing their lives because of this virus that there is not one cure for. Only God can make this go away. We need to come together as a nation, put race aside and pray together so God will heal our land. I believe that when we do all that this Scripture tells us to do, God will start making a way for this pandemic to come completely to an end. In order to do this, we must have faith. We cannot doubt what God is telling us to do. I am so tired of people losing their lives because of this virus. Thank God for those who made it through when they were sick wit it, God is good. I hope all who comes across this post and read it will consider this Scripture and take it to heart. Just know that God loves all of us. He does not want to see people who He created die because of this virus. It is time for us to start fighting back, but the only way we can do it is with the Word of God. We cannot continue to let this virus claim lives. With that being said, if you have not asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart to be your personal Lord and Savior, please do so today. He is waiting on you to come to Him so He can wash your sins away. He will accept you just as you are. Thank you all for joining me on my journey with Food for the Soul. Stay blessed.

BLESSED ARE WE
Matthew 5:7-9-“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called “sons” of God.
Let us look at the first Scripture. When we show mercy to people, we will be shown mercy, so therefore we are blessed because of it. There is nothing wrong with showing mercy when someone needs it. God has mercy on us every day. We are always making mistakes in our lives. Because God shows us mercy, He wakes us up after we have slept until the next day. We are to show and give mercy because it is what we are suppose to do. When someone wrongs us for whatever reason, we can ask God to have mercy on them, we do not have to worry about it anymore. When we show others mercy, we are showing them the love of God. It may be the first time that they may have seen the love, and mercy of God shared with them. Sometimes we are the only form of Jesus people see by the way we treat them.
Let us look at the next Scripture. A person having a pure heart has never held a grudge against anyone, hated anyone, lied on anyone, always respectful, loving , kind, follows God’s commands, and treats people how they want to be treated. They will be able to see God in those that are around them. Jesus is God in the flesh, and His Spirit lives in us. When someone see Jesus in us, they are blessed. We are blessed because His Spirit lives in us. It is His Spirit that keeps us alive. It is His Spirit that will not let us give up on our dreams. It is His Spirit that keeps us fighting the good fight of faith to cross the finish line.
Let us look at the last Scripture. Peacemakers are people who keeps the peace in situations that sometimes get out of hand. Jesus was a peaceful man. When they came to arrest Him in the garden, He did not put up a fight. He went peacefully with them. We are to be peacemakers to, it is what keeps strife away. Peacemakers talk about things instead of letting things get out of control, such as a mediator. Jesus is our mediator. He stands up for us and steps in any situation when He see it is going to get out of hand. He helps us to keep the peace in our homes, on our jobs, in the church also. Peacemakers are called “sons of God.” Let us always remember to keep the peace in everything.
THAT STILL SMALL VOICE
Listen ears for the One who created you, listen closely for that still small voice. Listen in the cool of the day for your Creator to walk softly by, to commune with you, speaking wisdom and knowledge into you. Listen ears for the instructions to be followed from that still small voice.
Speak voice to those who will listen to instruction, who will not take words for granted being spoken, but will take heed to that still small voice. Look on eyes of the One who gave you sight to see the beauty in the world, past the darkness that envelopes this world that is full of sin and death. Look towards the light of Who can break through it…just by speaking with that still small voice.
Walk on feet, walk on the streets of gold. Walking down the path to life everlasting…for all eternity…beholding the beauty of it all. Taking it all in…what a beautiful sight to the eyes to behold. Angels singing and rejoicing in unison over the lost soul who found their way back home…listening to that still small voice.
