1 Corinthians 3:3

My site is for uplifting and encouraging those that need spiritual advice and guidance.
When we are at odds with someone, we are normally in our emotions. We speak how we are feeling; with every emotion because we want the person we are at odds with to know how we are feeling, we want them to see every emotion that is within us. It does not hurt to show our feelings. It may take a while for us to calm down so we can speak rationally, but we are all of the same hurt. We are in our feelings. Our emotions take over and we find ourselves tired and drained.
Take a look at the Scripture, Proverbs 15:1. It talks about us speaking softly. We can be upset and still speak softly as to not let our emotions and feelings take over us. We can get our point across, we do not have to always show our feelings, but we can say things in a way to let the other person know that we are upset because of how they have hurt us. Soft answers turns away wrath, but grevious words stir up anger. When we stop and think about what we want to say, we can forgive that person using kind words instead of using harsh words, and things can be mended between the two. Speak softly as Jesus wants us to. Be kind and and love one another, it will make God’s heart happy. Stay blessed.
