My Prayer For Today

Dear Jesus,

We need you more and more everyday that we live. We know that what we are going through is the work of the enemy. We thank You that You are always protecting us everyday. Thank You for being just as awesome as You are. You are more beautiful than silver and gold, and Your Word lights our path when we feel like we are walking in darkness. Your Word feeds our soul when we are weak from going without it somedays. Thank You for the sunshine, and the rain that You pour down from Heaven. Thank You for the beautiful rainbows that You place in the sky that reminds us of the covenant that You made with Noah when You opened the doors of the Ark. Thank You for always giving us more than enough chances to get our lives right before You come back to take us home with You. I just do not know what we who are called by Your name would do without You.We would be headed to destruction where there is no peace forever. Thank You for sacrificing Your life that we may live and not be separated from God forever. Thank You for picking us up when we fall down, dusting us off, and setting our feet on a plain path to establish our goings. Thank You for always providing for us, and making a way for us where there seems to be no way. Your Will, and Your Way is perfect.

Thank You Jesus, in Your name, Amen.

Psalm 147:3-He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds(King James Version).

As I read this Scriptrue that God has written to us, He is telling us that He heals our hearts when our hearts have been broken for whatever reason. Sometimes things happen in our lives that we have no control of that we are hurt by. It leaves our hearts hurt to the point that we have a hard time getting over it, and for most of our lives we remember it just as if it just happened; we relive that time over and over again like listening to the same music over and over again after it has been memorized.

See, that is what the enemy does. He replays those bad memories over again to let us not forget what happened to us. We end up forgetting about what God can do for us when we go to Him when we are struggling to let things go that we should let go of. there was a time in my own life when something happened to me that I held on to for years that began to fester and turn to hate. When I started feeling that hate, I knew right then that I had to let that thing go that was hurting me. It took me a while to go to God, because the emeny kept telling me that I was just wasting my time, and that it was never going to get better. I went to Jesus in prayer and told Him just what I was feeling; the thing is that He already knew what I was feeling, but He just wanted me to come to Him and give it to Him so I could be healed. When He binds up our wounds, they are bound up never to hurt us again. We can be happy knowing that God really loves us more than we will ever know. Nothing will ever stop God from loving us. No matter where we are in this world, He is with us.

For as long as we live things will happen to us that will hurt us. We must always remember that God is there for us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. His love endures forever. If you have not asked Jesus to come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior, He is waiting for you to come to HIM. His arms are open wide to welcome you. It will be the best decision you could ever make in your life. God bless, be careful, stay safe, and wear your mask.

Remembering 9/11

First, I want to give thanks to God for allowing us to be here on this earth another day to have our health and strength. I want to thank Him for watching over us and protecting us through the night from the harm that is in this world. I want to thank Him for all that He has done, for all that He is doing, and for all that He is going to do on this earth, and in our lives. I want to thank Him for being just who He is, and that is God Almighty! We must praise Him in all circumstances that we go through in our lives.

Today is a day that we will never forget. I know we all remember where we were when that tragic tragedy took place. It is something that will be branded in our hearts and minds forever. I have had the opportunity to be interviewed by my daughter about this day when she was going to school. It was a tearful moment. I was looking through social media at some of the pictures that were posted, and I just broke down in tears. It still hurts me when I remember what our nation went throuhg on that day. My heart goes out to all of the families who lost loved ones, and to those that survived the tragedy; may God always comfort them.

That was something that we as a nation had to go through. We all had to heal in our own way, and we all had to understand that although it happened, God was still on the throne just as He is now. We as a nation faced this thing together, and we will make it through this thing together with prayer.

Now that our children are adults now, that was once small when this happened, we can tell them about what happened in that day and moment in time. I know that I remember everything about that day. Now we have to face this deadly virus, COVID-19. Who would have thought that after all we have been through we would have to go through something like this? Just when we felt comfortable and normal again, here this comes. Never in all of my life would I have ever thought that we would be going through something like this. What will the world be like by the time the year 2030 comes? I know that is a bit far off, but I just cannot help but imagine what we will be going through with this COVID-19 and wearing masks. Will we be able to speak to people and hang out without having to social distance? Will we be able to go to places without them having to bring our things to our vehicles without being afraid we are going to catch something? Will everything be normal again as it was before? I know that Jesus said that in this world we would have tribulations, but take heart I have overcome the world. Yes, we should, but it is kind of hard seeing what we are up against. Yes, we must have faith to know that God has us all in the palms of HIS hands. All we see is destruction day after day. We cannot believe what the enemy whispers in our ears about what is going on now, but we must believe the words of God. His words are true; we can stand on them from Genesis to Revelation; His words never fail.

I pray that we always remember to go to God when we feel like we cannot face another day of this thing that is taking the lives of people. We can tell Him everything that we are feeling about this whole matter. I know we do not understand why this has happened, but God understands. He knows what we think about it, and HE knows that we want it to come to an end. Until then we must be careful, stay safe and wear our masks everyday that we go out. It is an uncomfortable feeling wearing something that we have never had to wear on our faces. We are not only protecting ourselves, but we are protecting those that we are around everyday, and others that we come in contact with.

I pray that we will one day get to go to church again and praise the Lord together. Be careful, stay safe, and wear your masks. God bless America and our world, Amen.

STILL THE SAME

Nothing has changed as of yet with this COVID-19. It is still wreaking havoc in the world. Now there is the new one that is out that they have been talking about on the news. What next? What are we as a nation to think about this killer virus? What about the children that are being born into all of this? What can we do to protect them? What can we do to protect ourselves? I ask this question because the masks are not working properly as they should, because if they were people would not still be catching this virus! I know that we have to do what has been put in order for us to do and abide by. I often wonder when God created the world, He knew just how we were going to feel about this. He knew who were going to survive this and who were not when they were stricken by it. Sometimes I just wish that He would snap His fingers and eliminate it all together, but we have to still trust that He is going through this with us. We must trust that He will bring this to an end in due time. We just have to keep on praying, trusting, and beleiveing. One day this all will be a distant memory and it will be as if it never came. Until then we must hold on to God’s unchanging hand that will never let us go. May the lost come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior before it is to late, because tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Amen.

God will always be on our side!
