COVID-19: World Destruction

I cannot help but wonder what is this world going to be like this time next year. I cannot help but wonder what we will be wearing to protect ourselves from this disease other than the masks. I cannot help but wonder why we are having to go through this in the first place. It is not fair that we are having to go through this, nothing like this has ever happened before. I cannot help but wonder if all of this is going to be in the history books when the new generation starts to school. This is something that they are going to have questions about. We will be able to tell them what the world was like before this and after it came. I just never thought that something like this could happen. The whole world is going through this destruction from this. Many people have lost their lives because of this. This virus is very destructive, it does not care who it strikes nor does it care who it kills.

Innocent people taken out by this virus didn’t get to live their lives to the fullest. They did not get to enjoy their golden years. Some were young, and some were old that this virus has taken. I just pray that God will bring this virus to an end so things can go back to normal like it was. Will we have to go through this forever? We have been going through this for so long now that it is as if it has become the new normal. All of this destruction that this virus has caused is very depressing. There is not a safe place to go, not even going to work is safe. You just do not ever know who may have something that can be caught.

I know that God is not pleased with what is going on in this world. Jesus could come back now if He wanted to, but the question is this, will we be ready when He comes? Will we have done our part by spreading the gospel to those that have never heard His name? Will we have done our part by leading the lost to Jesus Christ? Will we all have done our part for the Kingdom of God?

We are so focused on what is going on that we have forgotten what is really important. Praising God through this destructive pandemic is what is important. We must trust Him even in these dark times that we are going through. We must never stop praising God because of what is going on in the world. He holds it all in His hands. He knows how we feel about this situation that we are facing as a whole. We just want it gone. If we pray everyday about this, we will not be so stressed out about it.

Well, God knows our hearts, minds, and souls, and He knows our every thought. We need to put it in His hands and let HIM do what He does best, let Him fix all of this. My prayer is that we pray for each other. We pray for the sick and shut-ins. We pray for the widows and orphans, and we help those that cannot help themselves. We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus. May God bless all of His people that are called by His name, Amen.

Wasting Our Breath

Have there ever been a time when you’re talking to someone and you feel like you are wasting your breath? Well I feel like I go through this often when I am talking to someone about something important, and they are not listening. I do not like wasting my breath. God only gives us so much to last a lifetime, and we just never know when our lives are going to come to an end; so my breath is important to me.

Should I have a lot to say about something, I try to get my point across and leave it at that. Our lives are but a vapor, and so are our lives because it does not belong to us. It is bad enough that we cannot breathe freely like we want to without wearing a mask; and that makes it hard to breathe. We should thank God for every breath that we breathe everyday. Let us not waste our breath on arguments and unnecessary screaming. Let us cherish every moment that we can breathe and have our being in Jesus Christ. It is His breath that we breath everyday. It is in His great mercy that we have our lives that we live. It is His love that causes us to appreciate every breath that we have.

Let us not forget to thank God for all that He has given us. Let us thank Him for all that He has done, for all He is doing, and for all that He is going to do on this earth, and in our lives. If you have not talked to Him today, He is waiting to hear from His children. Have a blessed night and day, go with God, and take the name of Jesus with you Amen.

Getting Through Grief

Getting through grief is very hard. It is something that we all have been through in our lives. It is not pretty. Truthfully, it is heartbreaking. It is something that is hard getting over. It could take months any maybe even years to get over due to the severity of the situation. Sometimes a person has to go and talk to a special person that can help them get to the root of the grief, to the bottom of the situation that has caused this grief. It sometimes causes depression, and that is a whole different situation in itself. When we sit and think about the things that Jesus went through for us, that was grief. When we look at how He laid down His life for us, that was grief. It was very, very painful grief that He went through so that we could be free, but He never complained about it.

There is nothing that we will ever go through that will ever compare to what Jesus went through. When we are going through grief, we can give it all to Jesus, we can leave it at His feet. He will help us go through it; He will never leave us alone to suffer through the things that we are going through in our lives. When we pray and release everything to Him we sleep better. We can rest knowing that Jesus will see us through. We can rest better knowing that it is out of our hands.

No mater what comes our way on any given day Jesus is with us. Yes, we may shed tears about the grief that we feel, but Jesus will wipe all of our tears away. Our hearts may break, but He will give us comfort. When our heart is broken, He is the only one that can mend it. Just know that we are loved always by our Savior, Jesus Christ. Give Him your grief and pain when things gets to heavy to carry. He carried the cross up that long dusty road just for all of us, and He will carry all of our burdens, and anything else that we can’t carry. I pray that all who reads this will be blessed by it.
