Cloudy Days and Relaxation

I just do not know what it is about cloudy days that makes us so sleepy. For as long as I can remember; cloudy days has relaxed me to the point that I would just fall asleep. Maybe it is because of the smell of rain in the air, or maybe it is because of the way the sky looks, or maybe it is because the cool breeze it brings when the wind blows. All I know is that it makes me want to drink something warm; like hot chocolate with marshmallows and peppermint. Other times I want to stand outside and just meditate and feel the cool breeze of peace as the wind blows across my face. One day my daughter and I was outside talking, and all of a sudden it became cloudy. Instead of us going in the house, we stayed outside and talked. It started to rain really hard and we just played in the rain. I let my hair down, pulled off my shoes and played in the rain. We had so much fun. I had not did anything like that since I was a child. We finally decided to go in the house. That was the best day ever! After it was all said and done, we laughed about it for a while. Later on we both sat down, relaxed, and went to sleep.

Cloudy days and relaxation are days for lounging and watching your favorite movies eating popcorn and drinking your favorite beverage with family and friends. I also like to watch westerns on cloudy days; it just seems right to me. What do you like to do on cloudy days to relax? Whatever it is, just have fun!
